Yesterday I had my surgery I'm able to keep Water down... I've been up walking around!!!

Hi my name is Rachael..
I've struggled with weight ever since I was little. My heaviest was 375. My lowest was180.. when I got married I was a size 18.. now 5 years later with 3 kiddos I was tired of the ups and downs.. my husband had a procedure done in July. They weighed him I was 100 lbs heavier than him that was my breaking point.. I'm done with all the once a month dietation. Everything got submitted in to the insurance company. Now I'm waiting to hear back from them..

Congratulations on your decision! You're starting an amazing journey. I'm 10 months out today and am thrilled with my progress. I've gone from a size 24 to a 12, but I'm hoping for an 8 before I finish losing.

I'm in Ohio. I went through Mount Carmel in Columbus.

That is so awesome!! I hope I can achieve mine by next year.

Hi everyone!
Well as of 11.9.16 (just under 8 months post WLS) I hit my goal weight. SW: 256 CW: 166. I have not been this weight since I was 23 years old. I think that I will have a better body and health at the age of 40 than I was a 21.
How long has it taken some of you to hit your goal weight? Has anyone been told by those around you that you have lost weight too fast?
I just had to share the news with everyone here. I know that everyone would understand my excitement unlike those in my life that have not had the surgery!

Don't be nervous. Just be honest, it's part of a wholistic treatment. They'll ask why you want the surgery, what research you've done, and a few questions like that. Then I had a long test to fill out that just measured how "nuts" I was. Lol!!! No really it had a bunch of true or false questions like....

(Trick question!!! I rarely have constipation but when I do it always troubles me.)
