Well after a beautiful 2 years and 7 months relationship with my band I had to get the Fluid removed for medical reasons. I am being told to eat enough to prepare my body for what is to come.. I am worried about putting the weight back on. I am seriously considering ‘ a Keto diet’. Any advise.

I had surgery on 5/8/2016 in the UK. Starting off at 108 kg now 94 kg. Slow but steady

Most surgeons put some Fluid in the band at surgery. You’ll know at you first fill.

@beccagib08 try massaging a mixture of peppermint oil with baby oil into the painful areas where you feel the gas at least 3 times a day

Had a few episodes of PB two days ago. Having persistent stomach pain starting yesterday and the same today. Advice please.

Lab band 1 year ago. Lost 14 kg then stalled. Had to deal with a wedding and families visiting. Gained 2 kg.

Any suggestions.

I've traveled from the UK to The USA with 6.4 ml in my 10 ml band. First day was reasonably ok. 2nd nothing other than fluids is staying down . HELP!!

I have never felt happier.

We women are most time supportive to our husbands/ partners regarding WLS but they can never return the favour. Is it because the feel insecure that we are looking better and feeling happier with ourselves?

Cold Water makes the discomfort worst

Try drinking warm Water or some tea.

My best luck in maintaining hydration was warm or hot fluids. Cold fluids causes constriction and more pain.

I think if we stick to PVC = eating in the order of Protein, Vegetables then Carbohydrates we will see some improvement. I tend to go the opposite way at times. Thus consuming a lot of the wrong foods.

At 6 cc now and feeling full with small amounts.
