I cant believe it has been 19 months since surgery.,...I have leveled out at 96 pounds gone,,,I am wanting to get another 25 or so off,, I feel like a new person. My legs dont hurt, my feet dont hurt,,,I have gone from size 26 to 14-16's. Life is good, I need to embrace my band daily and keep focused as I was in the beginning....It is easy to take on some bad habits on this journey, like cheese dip, ice cream, drinking with meals.... these are my bads...i know we all have them and if you dont you will....but moderation is the key....Let your band do its job.
Life is good.

there are some hoops that most insurance companys have you jump through, and there are several that your Dr, asks for too. I wasnt just being nosey, i was just wondering if you was using the same one I did. See if you dr. has any seminars, or classes to attend.....very informative and they will guide you step by step.

here I am almost a week after surgery. I know I would be be back at work had i not had to have a big incision. I am feeling good, and the liquids are not a problem,,,,,CAUSE IM NOT HUNGRY. I was fearing that the most. Lost 7 pounds,,,i hope i can get that ticker up and runnin.

Well, Guys and dolls the day that I have so waited for came yesterday., Less that 24 hours after the Insurance got my info I was approved....I am planning surgery on Jan 16th 2009!!!!!!!! Go Leslie @ Doc Wellborns office she is GOOOD.!

my Wellborn Seminar was wonderful. He just couldnt quit talking and his wife finally walked down front and helped him to wind down. He did remember me from way back when he did surgery back in the 80's.
He just kept saying to me,,,,,,,,,you were sooo sick.
How is the romance coming along?

I am just patiently waiting for sign up time at work to get on our health insurance,,,,,,,,,,,,then not sure how long the waiting period will be,,but im still soaking up the Site here, I love it.

Wow I think I have a new hero. Vegasgrace, I love the solid, matter of fact approach to all your posts. I needed every word I read tonight of all your postings. I wish I could adopt you to come and motivate me after im banded.,.,.,.I want success more than anything I can think of. I want health and freedom from pain. I want to live to hold grandbabies,,,,that arent born yet.
