  1. Me too! Best of luck and I am sending you positive vibes!????
  2. Omg, thank you GrandmaBee. Thank you for being encouraging. I can go back to sleep because I am anxious, but I think my nerves are starting to settle. It has really help reading you guys positive post and looking at the before & after pics. So, I am going to choose to remain positive! ❤
  3. Thank you everyone. I really appreciate the positive words. I know I will probably be back in my head again about this surgery, but rereading your post will help. KCBO- I worried about the liver diet too. I don't think I cheated but the directionso they gave me seem way too liberal. But I read somewhere that if you are losing weight then your liver is shrinking, and I am losing about a pound a day. Thank you again and congrats! I am glad to know you are in good spirits!
  4. My surgery is Friday morning, Nov 25th and I feel like I am on the verge of a panic attack. For whatever reason my fear is to not wake up and it doesn't help when you hear comments like "are you even big enough?" I know they don't understand my struggles with PCOS, my BMI being 41.2 or my pre-hypertension. Part of me is just like why can't I lose weight like a normal person. This fear may be due to the fact that I have never had surgery. Also, my support group is limited. So I really need to read something positive.
  5. Thanks for reminding me. I need to pick up a pack before Friday.
  6. Your date may change! Mine changed twice. Dec 16th, Nov 30th and now Nov 25th.
  7. My dietician doesn't care much for premier either, she says it is the top of the line junk Protein meaning it is the best out of the low quality Proteins. But, she says if that is what you can get that it is fine. nectar is really good, and for plant I like Organ Organic.
  8. You'll do great! Lots of love and light your way for anew easy and healthy recovery! Sent From BariatricPal App Thank you! ❤
  9. Beside having normal blood pressure and my PCOS under control. I look forward to fitting some cloths I brought when I weighed 100 lbs less and also doing extreme sports that I couldn't do because of my weight.
  10. That is what I do. I also tell myself, knee surgery is more complicated and I know 5 people who have gotten one of their knees done.
  11. Congrats lady!!!! Lookin' good and probably feeling good too!
  12. Best of luck and sending positive vibes, mine is Friday!!!!!
  13. I will ask for that, because idk what I'm doing wrong Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App Best of luck, I know how frustrating weightloss stalls can be.
  14. Count your calories. If you are taking in adequate calories then ask your nutritionist or surgeon. Also, did they do a metabolism test? If not, ask for that.
  15. You might need to increase your protein. When calorie intake is too low, your weightloss will stall for a bit. Make sure you are still getting 60g at least of protein.
  16. It might also be the gas from your stomach they pumped in. I hear it can be all over your upper chest and you can feel it in your shoulder, or near your heart like a heart attack. But the nurse and she is gastric sleeve patient said to just keep walking and do some stretching to break it up.
  17. Mine is 5 days. It went from 2 weeks to 5 because my BMI isn't high enough according to the doctor (40) to require 2 weeks and the surgeon opened another day. I think 2 weeks is the general requirement that fits most people. My bmi is over 40. Hmmm Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App Oh, I don't know the range. I barely qualify for the surgery with my insurance. I just know the Pre-op is to shrink your liver, so he may have also looked at my ultrasound. It could be a lot of variables, but since it was shorten it makes me feel like I really better not mess up. So, just follow your plan to the letter. :-)That's why I'm worried. This surgery is in mexico so there is no x-rays or any test to go by. I'm wondering if I should just do 2 weeks to be safe Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App It won't hurt and it will give you a nice head start on weightloss and building up good habits. I wanted the 2 weeks, but with me being single and my family being here and off of work for Thanksgiving was more of a factor for me.

  20. Try to drink you protein shake slowly. That is what has been helping me. I am 4 days into the Pre-op diet.
  21. That is terrible. I wish you a speedy recovery!
  22. Mine said no calorie counting because nutrients is what is important. So protein first, veggies second, and very little to no sugars or starches.
  23. Make sure you are getting in the good fats. So use Mayo with olive oil. Make sure you are also getting your Fiber. So remember you need 3 things for weightloss: Protein, fats, and fiber. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using the BariatricPal App
  24. Okay, so I spoke to the WLS center today and they ask to move my surgery up by 1 week. So now it will be on the 25th. I am so cautiously excited but I know this will be good for me. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using the BariatricPal App
  25. From what I read it looks like it saying stable weight older women who yo-yo diet are at an increase risk of cardiac death. So if your weight is stable, don't go on these yo-yo diets. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using the BariatricPal App
