    Weak and lightheaded

Probably I'm 10 weeks out did everything I should. Dr wanted me to lower my carb intake just a bit. Yesterday I did. Had my light Protein shake for Breakfast 4:30am then snack at 10am. lunch was tuna around 12 and a p3 which is turkey, cheese and nuts at 3. Took a nap got up had salad w grilled chicken around 6. Headache most of the day. My bs was 40 then 34 then registered low. Finally got it back up. Needless to say I am sticking with the carbs I was on. It was working for me. 4. So funny you say that. Every tiny bite of bread type products I've tasted since surgery all taste like uncooked dough. This is a wonderful thing as bread was a huge downfall for me. In the 8.5 months since surgery I've only had a few very tiny bites and they have all tasted gross. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Me too pretty much. 5. I have had no desire for rice either. I used to love a home made biscuit. Tried one taste. Tastes like uncooked flour blah Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App

    Stuck feeling

Me me. Walking and waiting it out. Not much helps. It's like after 2 baby bites my throat closes. Thick liquids are better for me than thin or solids. Since week 5 I'm on week 10 now Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App

  12. Thinking I was handling everything so well til last Friday. I'm a month post today. Nurse at Dr office says it's just nerves waking up and it's normal. Still I dont want to eat anything. Protein from food hurts. Barely getting shakes and Water down. The pain where my large incision was which is healed has come back today on top of it all. I just want to sleep sleep sleep. Not depressed I'm just exhausted. I'm sure that's from a decrease in protein as well. My fiance is so great and supportive but I just feel blah. Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App

    Driving

I was told after first post op visit which was a week after discharge. I was also told it was because you may not get enough Water in and be dehydrated which could make you pass out. Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App Was also told that as well but didn't take pain meds after hospital Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App

    Eating out

I think regardless of age you should be allowed a kids meal. It's less food for a smaller price no matter who eats it Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App
  17. I am 9 weeks post op and want to work out badly. My problem is when to find the time. What little spare time I have aside from work, about 40 hours between Tuesday and Thursday. Church 3x a week, I do take karate 2x a week. More strengthening not any cardio, and out of town on weekends, I can't find time. I'm exhausted from work and little sleep. Tomorrow I take my b12 shot, hoping it will help some. Anyone else have similar issues? Solutions? Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App

    I think I need help

You look amazing. They say it takes about a year for your eyes to catch up. I went from a 24 to a 16 since October I don't see what everyone else does either. I've read to look at just body pics and not your face. Your mind recognizes your face and puts the past images with it. Just a thought Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App
  19. Im 9 weeks out rny and feel great. Actually helping my fiance move in a couple weeks. Would already have done it but busy with work Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App

    Food Comfort

Pets are so different than most people they love us at our best and worst unconditionally. The only time my dogs ever get mad at me is bath time. I lost my sweet cheesecake last year right before thanksgiving. At 25 she had a long good life but was still hard to let her go. Prayers for you in your time of loss. Today's the day...

Prayers for both of you having surgery today. It's not selfish to want to be healthy and around for your kids. I lost my mom last Dec and that was my get healthy wake up catalyst that boosted my journey. Had surgery 10/3. You will do fine Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App

    I don't get it.

I'm not offended nor am I a food addict, but some people are. Thats just the way it is. For some it isn't an excuse. It's a struggle for everyone it's not the same. I ate like I was supposed to. Straws on the other hand I used one by accident and panicked because surgeon said don't do it but didn't say why. Called my dr but until they called back I asked others. Only to be told by the dr office, oh some people have issues with straws but if you don't it's ok. Not everyone has a "jerk" to keep them in line either. Just a thought if your tired of seeing the same post over and over why bother to waste time reading them or precious time venting a post. Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App
