I'm on day 6 of clear liquid diet. Sleeve Surgery is on Friday! There's been some rough moments, but I've toughed it out and all I can say is Protein shakes and organic BONE BROTH!!! The sugar free Jello popsicles are a life saver. Cold, crunchy and sweet gives you the sense of eating. I've lost 15 pounds in the last 7 weeks. But most of it was this week. Ready to get this done! I'm on day three... I'm emotional. Cried about manicotti last night I don't even care for it. I see the surgeon tomorrow for pre op appointment. Best of luck and prayers to all my porky comrades.

Got all my results back. H pylori negative only thing they found was my Vitamin D was low, so they are calling in a prescription. Everything else was good!

My husband and I were sleeved in November and December, which made it great to dress bulky and relax. Our Christmas dinner was wonderful, a mild chili, a few sips at a time. Then you can look forward to spring, with a new spring in your step, and new clothes! It habeengreat, no problems. Good luck!

I'm home and feeling great. No pain meds needed just sipping and walking. Wishing everyone health and wellness.

I am just finishing up my last few specialist appts for insurance approval for VSG with Dr. McKenna in Frederick, MD. Excited but a little scared--Just found this site and it is so nice to see so many going through the same things

I'm so excited, a little nervous. Today is the start my pre-op diet today. This is my surgery center, lol. The bread is for my son. Is anyone else using the app Baritastic, it's a great app.
