Surgery Tomorrow!

Hi all! Having surgery tomorrow and super excited. However, not thinking I woke up at 2 am with hip pain and took some ibuprofen. Now I'm reading that you can't have it 2 weeks prior to surgery. I hope they don't cancel it!

Does anyone know why you can't have it 2 weeks prior?
