  2. I have C PTSD too ...I'm in therapy but emotional eating issues fairly under control. I urge you to work hard in therapy on those emotional eating issues bc ur sounds like ur struggling with them still and plan ahead for triggers as much as possible Good fortune
  3. I'm really sorry to hear about your father. That's so depressing and difficult?? I'm terms of your emotional eating, no time for regrets.... you recognize it. You did it but you acknowledge it and now you canake healthy decisions from now on I also suggest gathering up your emotional help support because your going to need it dealing with your father and managing your triggers for emotional eating.

I'm not a mom but I have juvenile onset rheumatoid arthritis and attended some conferences about it which included parenting techniques when you're too disabled to lift, etc one thing I remember from it was taking your toddler about the house in a parasol stroller Also use a stomach binder to assist with movements I. Sure you understand the need to not lift is due to not only the external incisions but mostly the internal stitching and healing.so please get as much help as possible and improvise improvise improvise with your little one.... Wish I could be of more help

  6. @@Gerri918 good work...have they checked your labs yet for anemia and vit D deficiency? Those things ban make you fatigued too! Possibly it's also just the residual of recovering from surgery

  9. Mine said 30 min space before and after as well I don't know anything about drinking the sludge for the CT scan
  10. I'm sorry you had to go through all of that but you are tough and you didn't give up, you can choose to be bitter or better and movr on to greater pleasure if your new life for you not them

  15. Is is necessary to have a blender or really that helpful? When you get to puree stage. Can you eat baby food? I noticed no one ever mentioned this as a option so I figured there must be a reason but I don't know what it it??
  16. I agree with Kristenle it'd likely a slight electrolyte imbalance... banana can help if it's in your diet plan or fitness water electrolyte water.
  17. I think alot of these food issues are related to emotional eating and might hello to get support from ur psychologist on it too as well as here. I also found making a list of alternative activities and rewards has been helpful for me. I'm already practicing before my surgery latter this month

  19. Not me but that's good maybe your just at a point of radical acceptance to take a term from mindfulness...I like it. I agree with what you said and doing it for similar reasons but I'm still nervous and excited lol Hopefully you're not numb...
  20. I know it doesn't help to hear this now bit your doc could have ordered a alternative stress test for ppl like you who can't run due to injury or in my case disability I've had two stress test done chemically and it's the same test no treadmill involved
  21. My sleeve date is for October24th I'm dizzy with excited nervousness!!! Wherever I bought my box of 18 premier protein drinks at Costco wholesale. Saw they have premier protein bars now too wow. I boughy a blender but it'd defective so I'm taking it back and now trying to decide if s blender is necessary.
  22. Percoset is pretty darn strong for t he average bear. This pain sound s abnormal especially for laproscopy. .I've had open surgery in t h e past and that wasn't even the kinda pain I was in. It sounds like you need to call the surgeon ASAP or even go to t h e er to make sure nothing serious is going on. You maybe one of those few ppl who don't respond to pain meds well.
