I'm November 8th

Hello Surgery sister. I am doing fantastic.. except for the "mental" hunger i have been experiencing. I know it is mental because i do not feel hungry physically. I am well nourished by following my post-op diet to the dot. I am teaching myself discipline right now

My scale shows I am 5 lbs less than my surgery weight.. I am also excited to know how much lighter i will be one month out. Good luck on your liquid diet. Hang in there, it will all pay of as "easier recovery" later. (Hugs)

I already had my surgery on the 8th of November. I am 4 days post op now. I have not a single regret. All my friends and family say i look great and recovering so well they couldn't even tell i had surgery this past week! Feeling blessed!

Well started my 2 week pre op today. I really thought it be alot harder than what is. Had to make myself get in everything they wanted me to. Surgery is November 30th

I had my surgery yesterday and was discharged early this morning.
It went a lot easier than I had expected. No gas pain.

My surgery is set for November 29, 2016.
I am new to this site. I had my pre op meeting with my surgeon today. Getting a little nervous. Never had any kind of surgery before.

I had my surgery on 11/9 and even though I'm down 30 from start of preop I don't see me 30 less. I'm wondering at what point you see it.

I'm doing very well I think. Getting my Water and my Protein in. My biggest problem is that I am a lazy person and I have a hard time making myself go out and walk like I am supposed to. But I'm trying.
How has your recovery been?

I have surgery tomorrow! Excited and nervous!

I'm scheduled for November 17th at the University of Chicago Hospital. I'm unsure of what all I should pack.

@@AnaDana congrats ! When do you go for your post op appt ? I'm currently on day 2 of liquid diet and I'm excited to see what my starting weight will be and what I'll be post op as well .( more like one month out post op weight)

Scheduled for my surgery November 21,2016. Excited for this new beginning doing something just for me! At the end of my first week pre-op diet (liquids only). Really doing ok,but missing the chewing sensation a lot, but I haven't cheated not even once! I'm doing this! One week to go and so ready for this new journey.
