Well the bad part is if you miss an appointment you have to start all over from the beginning. I’m not messing this up! I will be at all my appointments because it’s time! Good luck!

I have 3 visits left which have to be done within 90 days so it’s 4 visits with exercise and 6 visits over 6 months without exercising. I’m exercising because I want to get it done as soon as possible and because I have to exercise anyway. This is the second time I’m going thru all this but this time I’m going to the finale. I’m tired!

I most likely will have my surgery in August. Yesterday I did my blood work and breath test. I’m going to my primary this week and he will do my EKG. I’ll also get my chest X-ray next weekend. My therapist will do my psych evaluation. I’m so excited! I really need to meet others having the surgery around the same time. I could use the support!

Good morning!! I'm almost finished with all my testing. I will have my endoscopy on Saturday but I do know from almost three years ago that I have a hernia. I've only experienced a burning sensation once in my life and omg it was horrible. I was on and still am at times taking an anti inflammatory medicine Zipsor. Fast forward, I'm hoping to get the sleeve I just can't get the bypass but from what I'm reading I'm very confused. Some people got better because they fixed the hernia, others no change or it got worse. Believe me I understand everyone is different but I'm just a little nervous about surgeon period now. I have to agree with you on saying female problems. Sometimes once you say that either someone just gives you the oh I understand or they want to tell you a story to try to explain they can relate. Stephanie - I'm definitely going to use the diet specifics you gave because I have a lot of nosy ppl at my job and it's none of their business about my decision. My husband and I thought about this for a few years because my arthritis has been so bad I've been getting injections and have really bad moments where I can hardly walk. I'm tired because I can't even go to the gym like I use to. This isn't the easy way out at all and it's a very personal decision. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Ok so I have about a month to get everything together before my next appointment with my surgeon. I don't have to do a 6 months diet so that's great but I do have to get myself mentally ready for what's to come. Nutrition is my main concern and I did explain that to my NUT. I want to make sure I have the tools to make my new tool work for me. I'm excite but nervous. I'm also happy I found this app. I've spent so much time reading a lot of ppl messages.
