  2. Good luck! I live in Asheboro about 90 miles. I had surgery in Florida. Best decision I have ever made. It's no cake walk but I wouldn't change it for anything. Larry Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

  5. Hi, so I work a ton.. usually 60+hrs a week. I've still been walking a lot. I had RNY on Sept. 6th. And down 177lbs. I've already mentioned in another post that I'm looking at doing a half marathon in January at Disney. I'm planning on joining a team and collecting donations for "Give Kids the World". I have had some unforeseen expenses with my daughter so even the $150 entry fee would be tight. But I will figure it out if I get some interest. I have to have $1000 in donations minimum but of course would like ad much as possible. It would be making the donations in the name of son who passed away in 2015 from NF1 and my daughter who has it too. Both got Disney wishes and stayed at give kids three world. GKTW.ORG so you can look at the charity. Just a wonderful place. Thanks. Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. Thanks everyone. It feels good. I just walked 4.3 miles Non-Stop while talking to a friend trying to help him fix his car and not even being out of breath. In fact the only reason I stopped as it was getting dark and my feet were hurting a little time for new shoes. Six months ago I couldn't walk 400 feet without having to sit down and take a break.
  7. Thanks, it's hard because I work so much. But it also allows me to stick to what works.
  8. Thanks to all of you...I work a lot and my weight loss has slowed. But I have been sticking to my path. I figure I can do some changes when I hit my target. I love being able to walk around without getting out of breath, and I even got a third floor apartment and go up and down without even noticing. And that's something I would have not been able to do even 6 months ago. Still not good at the dating thing...
  9. Ummm...I know it's hard for you to see, but I see a huge difference. Your a very beautiful lady...I see a huge difference. Keep up the hard work.
  10. So I am just over 5 months and I have less than 50lbs to go. Life is so much better without dragging around a whole other person. High weight somewhere around 412. Initial surgery visit weight 406.7 Current 243.3 Loss 163.4
  11. Wow, beautiful..congrats
  12. Your model beautiful now. Not that you look bad originally. But I know from personal experience I feel so much better. And you are definitely drop dead gorgeous. Congratulations
  13. Wow...you have done amazing...you look great.
  14. Yeah I agree, i nevee hesitate to admit that. Not as embarrassed as i was when I was huge, but still im no stud muffin. .so the small things could make a difference for me.
  15. I joined and its desolate...no one there...
  16. Lol...thanks for the information. Yeah, to far and definitely too cold..lol
  17. Lol...yeah I'm doing good on that part. I have a decent job, place to stay, and spend lots of time with my daughter. And I can walk up to my 3rd floor apartment and not even think about it. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
  18. Lol..yeah...I'm doing ok. Just trying to find that person who wants me around but not make me feel like I'm breathing for them. Lol...not sure where you are but, sounds like you will be a great catch. Good head on your shoulders...no groups like that at my church. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
  19. Yeah, i had some problems posting too. I miss having someone to talk, laugh, share with, and well yeah other things[emoji11] . Problem is i also work alot, not much choice as i have to pay the bills. I liked being married. She didnt even like people at all. And so I am dating in a world full of damaged people including me. I just hope to find someone who compliments me and I them. And on top of that, The way my ex treated me, makes it tough. And add to it that i am literally a different person than I was 5 months ago. 160lbs down, 50 to go and I love how I feel and what I can do, but still feel self conscious over how I look . Thats why I like talking to people here...At least you understand. Larry Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
  20. Well first congratulations. I'll let the ladies give you suggestions cuz I'm not very good at that. But from a guy's perspective you look wonderful. Spend the time now to get as good as you can get and then forget about it and enjoy the process. You look wonderfully beautiful and sexy. And he's a lucky guy and he knows that. Don't let the little things bug you. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
  21. You can gain and lose quite a bit of Water weight in a very short amount of time. So I wouldn't worry too much. Not to mention if you're on a high protein diet you're probably gain and muscle which weighs more than fat. Sounds like you're doing everything right don't beat yourself up stick with what you're doing and you'll be great. Larry BariatricPal App
