I agree uhc is very vague and not helpful. I haven't even thought about out of pocket expenses yet...hopefully it isn't too much. Good luck to you! Let me know what your doctor says! I will be sure to give you a follow up once I leave Dr Chavda's seminar! Ok! I'm back from the seminar and when I tell you Dr Chavda is amazing.....he is amazing!!! His nurse the entire team were so helpful. I'm so excited to get started with this change! Anyway, my out of pocket is around 3000 only because my insurance covers 80% of facility fees. I pay the rest up to an out of pocket max of 3000. However, I truly think that I'll only be out of pocket closer to 2000 once I'm all said and done????????????

I also have UHC. I enrolled in the Bariatric program but I am still completely confused about the out of pocket costs I will have. The nurse has not been very helpful when it comes to that component, and UHC customer service is vague. They keep saying it, "depends on my doctor!" Im thankful I have an appointment tomorrow to discuss these concerns.
