Are your purees runny, so they fall off the spoon? Have you just started them, as for me it took about 3-4 days for my healing stomach to adjust to purees. And yes, if it continues, definitely call your surgical team. Good luck!

They're not as runny, more like mash potatoes consistency.

I actually bought baby food (banana flavor) and I had no problem.

I will go buy baby spoons tomorrow, I forgot my Dr. recommended it.

yes today 9/8/16 was my first day on puree so I hope it was because I haven't ate solids in weeks.

I hope my stomach gets use to it or l'll call my Dr soon.

I used to add stock (chicken stock) to my savoury purees, as well as runny yoghurt. The purees really need to be runny. Your stomach is still healing, and after liquids it needs runny purees. Try it and see if it makes a difference. My NUT said the puree has to run/fall off the spoon easily. Good luck. It is the first day, so go slowly and gently with it.

Why can't you have some? If you can have puree - mix some avocado with eggs or just have some on it's own.

Going to the grocery today, getting some avocados! I found a recipe for a cauliflower 'cake' with a poached egg and mashed avocado on top. It looks and sounds heavenly!
