It sounds like everything is going great! I too have woken up with dry/sour mouth this morning. How are you managing the walking? I am scared to pop/rip something!! I have walked around my room but mostly I lay down go to the rest room sit up etc. should I be walking more? Large stitch is the worst!

Day 12. My paperwork says I can start puréed food today. I was planning on waiting until tomorrow when I have my two week appointment. But what the hell, I made a small thing of thinned mashed potatoes and added unflavored Protein powder to it. I puréed up some manwich meat made with ground turkey instead of beef. Put some of that on top of the potatoes and it was pretty tasty. I put it in a half cup container, wasn't able to eat much of it before I felt full. Probably an 1/8 of a cup maybe a touch more.

Feeling pretty guilty about the potatoes. They are on my list of allowed foods at this stage but I'm thinking I probably won't have them very often. Any other purée stage folks have potatoes on a regular basis? Last thing I want to do is mess up this short window of opportunity to drop the majority of my weight.
No weight loss the last two days, and I'm transitioning to puréed foods. Thinking I need to put the scale away and just focus on good nutrition. I keep saying that but curiosity gets me every time. Spent quite a bit of time on Pinterest getting sleeve friendly recipe ideas.
I've been open with everyone about my surgery and how I've been doing, even here on the forums. But one thing I've held back is some numbers. My highest weight was 370 lbs, day of surgery I was 339 lbs and as of this morning I was 326 lbs. total weight loss to date is 44 pounds.

When I started my bariatric process last June I was wearing 6xl shirts.
I'm now buying and wearing 2xl shirts.
By the Fall, I'd ove to make good on my threat to my son and raid his closet for a couple cool 1x shirts he owns.

OK I feel like I owe it to my community to give you guys an update on my weight loss and how I feel about my surgery being that I use this app as a tool early in my surgery and it was what got me through the new adjustment! I want to say that I am having the best time of my life it is so much fun losing weight and I hate that I cheated myself out of this opportunity for so long if anyone out there is on the fence about their decision this is EVERTHING! I am 60 pounds down from March surgery and I feel and look AMAZING!!!!!!
    Kindest regards, phuckyourtruth

I am at three days post op but I read on a forum that somewhere between week 3-4 most people hit a bump that is completely normal. It just means your body is freaking out at the amount of weight lost in a short period of time. However it quickly realizes you are still eating and feeding it and it starts again( the weight loss) congrats on the 28 lbs

sushi4winks got a reaction from northcountyr1 in Got sleeved yesterday Sept 5th!
Hi everyone! I am new to this forum! Had my sleeve done in Medellin, Colombia yesterday September 5th.
I am not going to lie, I felt like hell yesterday, I kept asking myself why I ever did this to myself. I had horrible throw up fits and was just puking contrast. They kept giving me some nausea medicine and it finally calmed down.
Needless to say my stitches bled a bit, I was really worried that I was going to pop one. But thankfully that didn't happen!
So today, day 2, is a brand new day. I am still in pain and feel like I did 550 abdominals but the back pain and discomfort from the CO2 has passed for the most part.
I am now in my hotel room as I got let out at noon. Car ride was no fun;( but made it and I am relaxing and trying to get my Protein and liquids in.
Yesterday whenever I drank something my stomach and esophagus would cramp up, today the pain has been a lot less.
How do you manage to get all the solids in!? I have two sips and feel full and uncomfortable.
My large stitch is hurting! Okay so today is a brand new day! Hopefully tomorrow will be better!!
    Thanks for hearing me out!
