I can't even begin to imagine someone reversing from a mgb to a rny. I have only seen it done the other way around. Not sure where you live but Dr. Rutledge or Dr Peraglie will see you as a second opinion. I had a MGB 6 months ago and doing wonderful. The both of them have done thousands of mgb.

I had mini gastric surgery on 8/25/16. I live in fl and have a md that has done thousands here. Very minimal comlications

And I hit my goal!
Sept 21/15 - Oct 31/16
Lots of hard work.
Many sacrifices.
Lots of self talk.
Much dedication and self motivation.
But it was all worth it!
The time flew by and I can't believe I am where I am just 13 short months after my Gastric Bypass surgery.
I saved my own life and will thank myself everyday.
I wasted too much of my precious life and now I'm gonna make up for it!
Turning 41 in a couple days and I've never felt better, happier, healthier and of course lighter!!!
Thanks for all that have traveled along this journey with me!

Everyday is a challenge. Every meal is a question of "do i really want that?". Every month is a question of why am i not loosing more. When i look at myself in the mirror i cant see the difference. People keep telling me that i changed, but i cant see it. I went from a size 24 to a now 16/14 and im 7 month out. From 318 lb to 228lb. 90 lb difference that i cannot tell by looking at myself. Maybe its a good thing, it wakes me work harder at the gym, helps me make better decisions with my diet. This is the first time i compared pictures of my face....definitely looks like a different person

That is correct not all BCBS are the same. I had BCBS and all was covered except my portion to the surgeon which was $400 I work for a hosp that covered the surgery and our plan is that if u have it done at our hospital u pay nothing out of pocket for the hospital bill. It is covered. They didn't even require 6 month diet and exercise journal for the approval. But like the other person said not all BCBC is the same. They vary by employer!

I had terrible pain on left side to the point that I had to be admitted for pain management. The pain was up in the left side stabbing pain. It got better after day 8 or so. I was told I might have had a hematoma or it could have just been muscular in nature . Toradol made a world of difference
