You will be okay. It could have been worse. Like Soda etc. Also, I dont know about you but guilt always makes me feel worse enough to eat more.Try not to cheat during the 48 hours before for sure! Good luck!

Dear friends! I'm looking for anyone who has gone through the surgery to see me through. I don't start the Preop until 2 weeks before that around the 24th. I am paying for the surgery myself so I did not need to go through extensive therapy. I am afraid that I just don't know enough or will have enough of a support. Diet tips, what to expect, check ins and any other support you may give, I would be deeply indebted. Thanks for any responses, really.

My surgery is on October 9, 2016. Two weeks before I will be on a liquid diet. I have started to drink a lot of Water. I am also a heavy smoker and am trying to cut it down before the two weeks which I hope to do 100% smoke free. I'm using my Fitbit watch to ensure I get to walk more. I don't know what else to eat/do. I am self pay so it was just a matter of setting an appointment for surgery for me. I know others have to wait for 6 months and have time to get into diets etc. Good luck to you all!

I know I am doing this for all the right reasons. So excited, yet afraid. For those of you who have already had the surgery, I have no one to bring to my appointment. Was this necessary for you?

I read in the instructions that I may be kept at the hospital post Surgery for a day or two. I'm hoping I'd be less groggy or sedated by the time I'm leaving. Good luck to you on the 28th! Almost there!
