    What to eat before workout?

  2. I am struggling on what to eat before working out. I have tried to do a Protein shake right before since I don't want anything too heavy but that doesn't seem to sustain me through the entire workout. I play tennis a lot and matches can last 2-3 hours and I am running out of steam after about an hour/hour and half. I have tried taking a break and munching on something half way through but can't quite find the right "during workout snack" that is quick. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!   5. I had VSG on 8/12. I had my Postop appointment on 8/22 and had lost 15lbs. Yeah! Since that point, I have not lost a pound. I have started eating soft foods, so not sure if starting to eat real food is the cause. I also started working out so my nutritionist said I need to increase calories and Fluid intake. I was around 500-600 calories/day and have tried to increase to 600-800 calories/day. I am consistently meeting my Protein goals daily. Has anyone else experienced this?
