I had MGB and my doctor insisted I would not have any acid reflux . After the surgery I have had acid reflux . He thinks its because had I a bleeding ulcer and was rushed back into surgery.

I had a bloodclot in my leg that broke off and went into both my lungs. Currently on Pradaxa.

No I did not fly anywhere or no long car trips. I was in hospital for 5 days. Some Dr' s in the hospital said it is connected to the surgery. I am not sure I will ever find out. It been a tough time! Looking forward to better days ahead. Sent from my LG-K430 using the BariatricPal App

No long car trips and did not fly anywhere. After the mgb surgery I was rushed back into a surgery with a bleeding ulcer and they stopped the coumadin shots for blood clots. I do not know if that effected anything. I just found out from the ct scan the clots moved into my lungs. It is the same coumadin treatment for both problems. I went to my family Dr and she said she does not think it is a DVT but is sending me for a ultrasound on Tuesday morning. The pain is getting worse and now i I'm walking with a limb.
