  1. Try a sugar free popsicle. That has helped with my head hunger so far. Sleeved 2/9
  2. 3 more days till weigh in day. I can do this. Lol
  3. Good morning from the loser's bench. Today is the 3rd post-op day for me. First day I bombed at getting the minimum amount of fluids and protien (33oz fluid and 11 oz protien). Yesterday I reached my goals.
  4. Hi there, if you haven't seen one of my posts from today. I need to let you know I had my surgery 2/9. So I've weighed myself every day for a long time. It's a habit or an addiction. You pick. So today when I got up I almost weighed myself[emoji44]. I stopped in time. I do believe I got the shakes and broke out in a sweat. Lol I've sworn to only weighing once a week. My weigh in day will be Thursday's. That's 4 long days away. I sure hope I can stick with it. Hubby may have to hide it from me. So if some strange lady knocks on your door asking if she can weigh herself on your scale, nicely tell her it's not Thursday yet. Lol
  5. You'll do great. Welcome to the losers bench.
  6. I highly suggest you leave the beer alone. I could go on about didn't you think of all this BEFORE surgery? But you're past that. I had my ah-ha moment before surgery. That's why I had it. I just had my surgery on 2/9. You sound like you are your worse enemy. I hope you can find what you're looking for. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App
  7. Are you getting your protien Fluid in? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App
  8. The nurse gave me a stack of them. I was just going to use a shot glass. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App
  9. Not a single regret so far. No buyers remorse either. I have discovered I don't want to watch food commercials. I flip the channel. Lol. I'm worried they'll make me hungry. I'm taking my pain and anti nausea meds. So I'm not experiencing either one of those. I just sipped 4oz of protein shake. I think I've discovered what feeling full feels like. Lol My tummy is really tender and I'm tired. But other than that not so bad. No gas pains for me so far. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App
  10. Wow, your psychologist gave you a goal weight? The only goal weight I had was from my Surgeon. I'm with Fresno Ksiser. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App
  11. I took and am taking my pain meds. I'm a real wimp. If I can avoid pain I do. So I'm a real wimp. I had my surgery 2/9. I took pain medication regularly while in hospital. So I wasn't in pain. But my tummy was and is tender. I was released from hospital yesterday. The nurse recommend having some pain med before leaving. Which I did. I tried not taking any after that. I'm worried about constipation. Was released from hospital around 11:00 by 6 pm I had to take pain med. So my plan is to continue to take it today and try not to take it tomorrow. I was also on anti nausea meds while in hospital and I didn't experience any nausea. If you can tolerate medication I would highly recommend it. Why suffer if you don't have too. 14. I'm interested in this too. I have one on each shoulder. One on each shoulder blade. A large one on my left leg. I've been holding off on getting my next one until I enter maintenance phase. I'm planning on getting a peacock on right calve. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App
  15. I think my nausea so far has been because of pain medication. Only time I get nauseated is right after taking it. I also told my surgeon that I was prone to nausea from anesthesia. They gave me anti nausea meds during surgery and while I was in hospital. My surgeon prescribed me anti nausea med. That is what I am taking. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App
  16. Good luck to you too. Mines at 11:15

  19. For my 2 weeks post-op. My goal is one premier protien shake and two 16.9oz water bottles. Surgeon's orders. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App
  20. Me too. Only one more day. Drink lots of no calorie, no carbonation and no caffeine drinks. I drink right around 100oz a day. You will spend lots of time in the bathroom. This really helped me with hunger issues. Protien, protien and eat more protien. Before pre-op diet I had premier Protein shake for Breakfast. Protien lunch and protein and veggies dinner. Eat BREAKFAST. This was a biggie for me. When I discovered shakes I was so happy. I use a small amount of a protien shake for creamer in my coffee. Pratice eating small bites and chewing lots. No Fluid drinking with food. Wait 30 minutes to drink after eating This one was a little tough for me. I wasn't perfect but I did make a concious effort to Pratice for post-op. I hope it pays off.
