My surgery is October 3. I'm 6 days into pre opt diet. Feeling hungry. But I drink lots and lots of Water and 3 Protein shakes. I'm ready for my surgery or ready for pre opt diet to be over. Anyone else getting headaches? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

My nurse explained about the risk factor being extremely low because this surgery is only scheduled after monthly counseling sessions with a nutritionist, after counseling session with a nurse, after talking with a surgeon, after weight loss, blood work and Insurance scrutiny. All these things are done pre-surgery to ensure that we have the best outcome possible. Take solace in knowing that all of these things are working together for our wonderful new life experience. Once I satisfied everything that the doctors and the nurses need it only took me two weeks for the insurance to give me approval. After I received my Insurance approval, it was about me and the doctor coming up with a schedule that suited both of us. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
