    Cancer

I just had surgery at 5 months for an extremely large abdominal mass that was suspected to be cancer but pathology reports came back and things are benign. The biggest thing I have run into is a stall, primarily I think because during the surgery and month post I have eaten what I could tolerate (lots of soda crackers/carbs) and unable to get all my Vitamins and fluids in as easily. I'm about 6 weeks post now and working on getting back on track. Best wishes sent your way. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    I have the Flu

The decaf tea popsicles is a good one to try, I do G2, however I would think that at this point if straight Gatorade is all you can get in then that is better than not getting your fluids, the more dehydrated you get the more problems you could get. 3. Hi all! This is my 5th day post op and have overall been doing better than I anticipated. I have been having a lot of "gurgling " like feeling in what I assume is my stomach and I have had some pain from what feels more like where they repaired a hiatal hernia. Stayed 2 nights in hospital because my new stomach was slow to drain from the esophagus . I think what I am feeling is mostly spasms....but did any of the rest of you have the nausea and discomfort more from the hiatal hernia then the stomach?
