Tricare does not care how much weight you lost or if you lose any at all. They also do not require a psychological evaluation. I did not want to pay the $288 that my gastric bypass surgery required for their classes ( I went to one and it was ridiculous I learn more from weight watchers) so they gave me the paperwork and I just took it to my doctor and we filled it out monthly, paid my $20 co-pay every month without skipping a month and brought the paperwork back to my gastric bypass surgeon when my months were over and they processed it. I wanted to get gastric bypass surgery nine years ago. My family flipped out and were so against it they didn't know anything about it. Forbid me from even thinking about it. They scared me, totally turned me off so now at 49 I got it done secretly. I think it's good to support your child and in mentioning it I don't think it would hurt your child. In mentioning it I think it will open the doors to other avenues they've just never thought about. Every child wants their parents approval and input regardless of what they said so . I had surgery on the Aug 15th and I to have problems with Protein. But I worry about with you is that you really have to drink a lot of protein after sir surgery. Not only that week before surgery but after you have like two weeks of liquids and then another couple weeks of mush and those weeks all consist of protein drinks. Also your tast change a lot after surgery. Anyway here's a picture of what I like. I must say it's not the greatest but it's something I can tolerate. The blue is horrible! I use the red one. Were you tired? Yes I am trying yet I get so full very fast and I'm always I thirsty for Water. I did buy some Isopure it's easier to get down. I fear I might have the same situation my stomach just does not hold that much it's like I'm eating or drinking every minute of the day. I did try some mush Protein and of course I threw that up a lot. I average around 25 grams a day. I'm trying to get it up today, it's the best day out of all the days probably because the isopure. I was the same then yesterday I had my first really sick vomiting day. I was on full liquids and starting thick mushy. I now feel I cannot get my form back.
