  1. It helped me with the movement of my body, and the flexibility. I started out at 280 on 8/17/16 and I am now 221. I will say that it does tone up your muscles, and your muscles burn the fat... But muscles weigh more than fat. some days I get sad because the weight doesn't feel like it's coming off but I am losing more inches and I guess the weight will follow suit at some point.

  2. So today my current weight is... 227.6. I had surgery on 8/17/16 and my SW was 280. I am going to start this 12 week challenge with making sure I drink more Water, get my Protein in and go to the gym at least 3 times a week. I usually get my Protein in, but have a hard time with my Water. I would like to lose 27 lbs, to get below 200. Here is to the new year!

  3. I'm starting in the morning. I had gastric bypass on 5/18/16 and weighed this morning at 202.4 lbs. I would like to lose at least 25 lbs to reach my goal weight. My goals are to drink more Water, get more Protein in and walk at least three days. I have been stalled for over a month.

I have been stalled for about a month as well.... Hope participating in this will get things going again.

  4. I had a hard time telling at first, until I had to do this collage... I had surgery in August 2016, and was very discouraged because I didn't feel like I was losing enough or what I was supposed to be. But just keep going, it does happen and you do but we are extremely hard on ourselves, our own worst critics... Hope this helps. post-298402-14831249855551_thumb.jpg

  5. So I am about three months post op, and I have been losing weight up until now. I am at a stall I think, and even put on a fee pounds. My diet has not changed and I am getting all of my Protein and Water in. The only difference is that I had my first menstrual cycle in 7 years this past week. Not sure if anyone else has gone through this. Some advice would be good.

  6. I had mine on August 17, I have hit a stall as well... but I am still keeping to the plan. I work out 4-5 times a day.

My meal plans go like this:

Breakfast: Protein shake, or egg, or grits.. I trade off each day

Lunch: some sort of Protein meat, egg salad with lettuce boat, yogurt, some combination of those

Snack: some sort of nuts, or Kroger Carbsmart Protein Drink

    Dinner: protein meat or a salad...I noticed I don't each much of a lot of salad.< /p>

I work hard to keep my Water at 64 oz. But I do fall short. How long are the stalls for? Cause I have lost about 25-30 lbs... buy it seems to be at a huge standstill.... what about you guys?

I have also lost 25 lbs, and now I am in a stall - my first one at 6 weeks. From what I've read on here, they can take anywhere from 3 weeks to a couple of months. Like you, I'm still struggling to hit my Water (and protein) goals. I'm going to focus on that, as well as increasing exercise, and hope I can break the stall that way.

Also, I just noticed you said you are working out 4-5 times a day. That seems like a lot, so if you are not hitting (or exceeding) your water goals, that may be part of the problem. I'd focus on that. I hope it helps!

Aren't we supposed to be walking 30 mins a day? At least that is what my Dr. Told me.... that's why i go to the gym so much! I work next to it and we get a membership for free, so I go right after work.

  8. So, I had my bypass August 17, I have lost a good 30 lbs... but I get a tad bit discouraged or disappointed when now the scale doesn't move and hasn't moved in about 2 weeks. I am eating right and I go to the gym 5-6 days a week. My gym training varies with either just cardio, cardio and strength or I take classes. I can see a difference in all my clothes so that is the one thing that keeps me motivated, but this is not a bad thing right? This is normal correct? Just making sure I am not crazy! Lol
