I was sleeved 8/31 and have lost 24 lbs post-op. They say you lose about 20 lbs the first month and then 2 lbs a week after that. I think you're right on track. When I hit my one month mark I stalled for about 10-14 days. I have to tell you that eventhough my scale isn't changing I am getting thinner everyday! I am losing inches and melting away. Keep in mind excercise builds muscle.

I am not a huge drinker, either. However due to a series of events and gatherings I have been in situations where I've been virtually forced to drink. My first experience was 10 days post op and I had no ill effects. I had one drink that I nursed for hours. A few weeks later at a wedding I graduated to 2 drinks. Now, this weekend (2 months post op) I handled 2 mixed drinks and a Twisted Tea just fine over a 4 hr period. Wasn't drunk. Wasn't sick. Just make sure you stay away from beer and shots.
