@@kmorri that's great! 63 lbs congrats and keep up the awesome work. It's amazing how simple things like wearing normal shoes can become a goal. Glad to hear all your swelling is gone. God bless. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

@@Inner Surfer Girl food scale. Good idea! I'm so thankful for all of you. This is giving me a chance to gather all these things before hand so I am not overwhelmed once the process actually starts. @@AvaFern congratulations keeping the weight off! When you say mix, I assume you mean in a blender (another item I need) I have seen so many mixed reviews on the ready made shakes. I guess it's simply trial and error. Or in this case, hold it down or puke it up lol. Looking at your menu, I am really looking forward to being able to eat so little and be full. I'm like a bottomless pit example: yesterday hubby and son left for a over night golf trip. I ordered a thin crust pizza and within 6 hrs managed to eat the whole damn thing. I try telling my self I'm full and not to eat. But I break down and eat anyway. I can't wait to have this done. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

I'd like to thank you all for your advice and experience. Far to many of you to try and tag. After reading all your posts and talking to hubby, I decided that even if coffee is a no go, I am still moving forward with this surgery. My knees and back are getting worst as each day passes. I'm only 37! I see 80 year olds get around better than me! And yeah, it pisses me off that I allowed myself to get to this point. I have a plan for the smoking... Vape with no nicotine. The chocolate cravings won't be an issue because the Protein shakes come in a variety of flavors. Now the biggest issue is..... Waiting. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Hi @@tiffanyt I have not even met with my surgeon yet. But I wanted to ask, if you don't mind, you said you went from band to sleeve. Why? My family is suggesting band, but I think I may be better suited for sleeve. Was you not getting the results you needed? Or a complication?... And OMG! 100 lbs is amazing!!!! Keep up the great work. I'm sure the scale will catch up soon. Wish I had advice for you Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

@@proudgrammy I spoke with hubby about it today, he said why are you torturing yourself? Wait until you actually see the Dr and find out what the plan would be for you. Makes sense. Oh my so many of you to tag lol @ I have not met with anyone just yet. I literally just started this whole thing. My very first appointment is September 9th. I am really hopeful that I can keep my coffee. I just don't know for sure if I can give it up. It's a scary process. The two surgeries I have in my life was both C-sections. And I managed to screw up the after care on the SECOND ONE! This is a much more risky elective surgery and I just don't want to screw it up. I'm thankful to have found this site with everyone willing to share his/her experience I know every situation is different. Maybe some of you started off the process smaller than others? Maybe some had different health issues ? I guess I'm over thinking it before even meeting the surgeon. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

1-2 cups is awesome! So just curious... I'm not a Breakfast person at all. Breakfast for me is like 3 pm. If I was to have coffee with stevia or Splenda, and skip the "breakfast" part would that be okay? Or no way? And I mean during the pre op and post op. @@OKCPirate from what I am seeing coffee is a huge no no which makes me very sad.
