  1. Tried to fill it out but I could not enter a date that it liked.
  2. That is awesome and hoping to see those numbers as well, you look amazing!
  3. I do plan on talking with my NUT and my surgeon about these issues. So I can get a better grip, but I enjoy the boards because I can type a thought that I am sure others have had and maybe I'm wrong maybe they haven't had and always find good feedback and "food for thought." I still have cravings though and still trying to come up with a way to deal with them. I do appreciate the feedback or I wouldn't have posted at all.
  4. That is a great twist ... I like it .. like it a lot. Thank you for that!
  5. So am doing well and losing weight and following my diet and an evil thought keeps pressing .... When do I get to cheat...what will I eat .... will it be a whole day of cheating or just one meal .... will that screw things up? How often will I allow myself to cheat ... I know I don't need permission and prolly could have been mixing my shakes with ice cream the whole time but why bother with the surgery. I got fat cause I ate food I wasn't supposed to eat. Not sure where I am going with this post just kinda typing out loud. But I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought about a reward with food that wasn't exactly on the menu and am wondering if others had a cheat day? I know as a woman I should treat myself to some clothes or a purse or some heels I could use to stab someone with for suggesting to get clothes, not that that isn't a great idea. But am hoping as you read the post that you get where I'm going. Have a great weekend!
  6. Its nice to be able to get some food in even though its a bit mushy. But its fun and am grateful for it. So am having fun mixing things up so I can stop drooling over food I can't have that I see on the TV. I eat about a cup total for the day I get full around 4 ounces. Some times a lil more sometimes a lil less.
  7. My surgeon knew that I like to have the occasional cocktail, she advised that after 6 weeks I could have a beverage and warned about Sleeved patients are likely to become alcoholics due to ease of getting drunk. She was cautious and informative. Its nice to know that I can have that drink and its not something I'm not allowed to have.
  8. Ok well that explains a lot truly. Was worried that something may have gone wrong. Was getting everything down with no issues but not going over 4 ounces as I don't want anything bad to happen or stretch out the pouch prematurely.
  9. I was so used to my lap band that not having the same restriction is weird. But I thank you for the feedback and will try to just not worry about it.
  10. Ok an am a band to sleeve convert and been placed on pureed diet today. I am able to tolerate 4 ounces am wondering if that is the max that I can do or is my max gonna be around a full cup? I felt full and no pain. Just curious. Maybe I shouldn't ask.
  11. that is awesome!
  12. I'm over being ashamed that i failed the lap band and had to go to the sleeve, I'm over being ashamed that I'm fat and that my body aches and I get tired easily ....
  13. Ok the magic bullet is kinda crapola for making mushie thankfully a ninja system I bought a few years ago has a smaller version of itself and I can puree in there just fine think that the use for making smoothies and shakes is perfect!
  14. I have Unjury unflavored and its not too shabby do have to take temp of things as to ensure its not above 140F but it hasn't been bad or after surgery my taste buds have been shot
  15. its smart to get a start on what things you think you'll need but I tend to get carried away when I buy things .... am looking forward to buying clothes that are a smaller size that's for sure.
  16. Ok just have to remember to read all directions, great with the shake,
  17. No different I think from constipation then again maybe. I am having formed stools now but not firm, I'm giggling and shaking my head as I am typing this. Too funny. Just have an urge to go then nothing, then sometimes I get to go, just a weird phase I guess. Oh well.....
  18. I was sleeved 8/9 and have a FB that I use for games as real life issues prevented me from having a real FB. Will look into it though.
  19. I just bought one yesterday to help with shakes and making mushie meals.... will try it later and report on it then!
  20. that was a kewl video and allows you to realize how serious they can be for sure
  21. Ok dumb question but wondering if anyone else has suffered from the annoying phantom poo. After the diarrhea had settled down and began forming poo again, which was nice don't get me wrong. But now I get sense of urgency to go and nothing. Happens a few times a day. Then usually at the end of the day voila and all is well again. Anyone else with this? Will it end?
  22. @nakole73 this will pass .... thank goodness it passes .... just a normal part of the process sadly.... it will get better !!!
  23. I did a band to sleeve 08/09/2016 and I lived and find myself drinking really well no hiatal hernia repair though.
  24. I have told family and close friends. I've only told a few co-workers, for me its a bit embarrassing and its no one's business but my own. Its a personal decision and a significant one to make that one does not make lightly. There are serious consequences if things go badly. Now thinking if someone asked me if I had surgery would I tell the truth, I would. What's done is done.
