  2. My 3 week stall is on week 4..../...no loss for 2 weeks...im fed up. I'm getting all my Protein and following the diet to a T, but nothing. It is so frustrating and depressing. I hope we both see some movement soon.

  4. i just got them this week and I can not keep them on. They keep falling off. Ive tried multiple spots. I'm going to try shoulder tomorrow.
  5. I just got mine yesterday. I asked the dr. last time and he said just to make sure they had everything I needed and the numbers to go with them. They do. I will se them for a few weeks. I could not chew the Vitamins without gagging, so this is better than nothing!
  6. He told me Im doing well and not to worry about it. He told me the loss will be like steps and landings, not like a slide. Ive heard of the 3 week stall, but technically its been week 2 and 3 stall for me. I feel like im doing so well, not 1 cheat and doing everything possible and NOTHING. It will take a few days to get rid if the funk and the feeling that Ive wasted my time.
  7. So, I went for my 3 week follow up today. Since ive been there 2 WEEKS ago I have lost 1 pound. 1 freaking pound. A week of pureed mush under 800 calories, close to my Protein and liquid goals, and I lose A pound! It took all my strength not to break down and cry from frustration. WTH? I am so disheartened.
  8. Good luck to you. I'm almost 3 weeks out and it isn't easy and still have those thoughts of did I do the right thing. I also have the thoughts is it going to work for me....nothing else did so wtf not? right?
  9. I also stopped my meds immediately at surgery. My numbers have been great with no issues, 2 weeks out.
  10. I am 2 weeks out and I get them once in a while usually at night while i sleep. and yes gross!
  11. Made it through the day, got really tired the last 1/4 of the day. Came home and fell asleep for an hour.
  12. LMAO too funny and I'm going to use that!
  13. I will be going back to work tomorrow, exactly 2 weeks from date of surgery. I hope I have enough energy to make it through the day. Hope I can get all my liquids in. Hope I have no bathroom issues. Hope people don't ask me what surgery I had. You all have been great these last two weeks.
  14. Yes, same here. 2 weeks out and its better then it was but still happening. dr said it was normal especially if you had hernia surgery too.
  15. I was told to stop all type II meds after surgery. I was on metformin and trulicity. I have not taken anything since surgery and my highest reading has been 104! of course im only 2 weeks out and not really eating anything so we shall see if it keeps up.
  16. I use a baby spoon, but I too am having same issues.
  17. Pure Protein in chocolate are the only ones I didn't have to gag down.
  18. Does anyone know the % of people this usually affects?
  19. No, not at all. My husband has been super supportive at every turn. You husband is insecure about the new you. He may need reassurance that you did this for you and no one else. Explain to him how you need his support and that you want him with you every step of the way.
  20. Yes, I have trouble with acid especially a few months before surgery. No over the counter meds work for me. The dr gave me another script but that helped less than the Nexium
  21. So happy for you!My mom had her sleeve 6 weeks ago and said she never thought shed be so excited to eat cottage cheese! I'm wondering... How did your first week post op go? I'm 3 days out and I'm struggling so much. I hear and see so many different stories that i guess I'm just reaching for some hope right about now! Sent from my SM-G900T using the BariatricPal App I was sleeved 8/30 and have been very happy so far. I have been working on getting my Protein and Water up. So far I'm getting about 45 grams protein and 40 oz water. I can definite tell when I take too big of a sip I will feel a really big bubble in my tummy. What are you struggling with??? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App Getting my protein in I'm getting about 50 if I'm lucky some days liquid is is hard sometimes I do ok
  22. I am already taking 40mg nexium each day, but the acid is constant day and night and keeping me awake. I just started pureed foods yesterday. Help!
  23. For a year, maybe life. I have very bad GERD before surgery. It is really bad right now. Sleeved 10 days ago.
