    Meal replacement or protein shakes

I don't mind using Protein shakes as a snack. I like the idealshake meal replacement with its 11 grams of protein, and I will add pb fit to increase protein with skim milk when I want a quick meal Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using the BariatricPal App
  2. Just curious about this one...I see some bariatric sites peddling for both kinds. Wouldn't a high Protein meal replacement with low sugar and carbs be better because of the Vitamins and minerals it has? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using the BariatricPal App
  3. I was banded on 5.8.12 and we'll my progress stalled. The surgeon who did my adjustments made it way too tight that nothing stayed down even when he told me I still had room. When I complained he would tell me that in order do see if it was or if it slipped that I would have to be placed under imaging and that would cost me a lot of money and after some visits later suggested I do sleeve. Also the nutrionist would never properly respknd to my any of my emails thus no follow ups with the nutritionist even when I asked about it. I stopped seeing him because I was getting no where and my former employer, Starbucks, made it difficult for me to designate certain days for medical appointments. So after a year and a new job I decided to seek a second opinion earlier this year. It was with the second dr that we found out that the band was too tight and they removed Fluid. So, right now we are working with what I got,but I am wondering about revision surgery. When I got banded I never thought I would stall like this for so long and a part of me is wondering if it is also because I have pcos or something I might be doing wrong because I am not losing as much as should be losing with the lap band from what I was told by the new dr. She also suggested bypass more than sleeve, but I don't know which would be better for someone like me Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using the BariatricPal App
