  1. Hey Maku, You asked me what I ate.......EVERY THING THAT DID NOT MOVE. Back to my old emotional eating. Please all you new band people, take it from me, this IS NOT what you want to do. Keep up with a support group. It does help. I have told my husband, family, friends, i need help. That is the first step. Pray, Pray, Pray. and do no let this be you. Thank you to everyone and I hope and pray that nobody else has to go thru this. I am so sad right now. Excited to be back here tho......Lori-Ann
  2. Hello everyone, I am a 40 mother of 1- 13 year old, wife of a 32 year old and so over weight. I had the lap-band surgery feb. 7th of 07'. with the band, I had lost 120lbs. I got married 5 months ago and over the course of a year, I have put on about 60 lbs. I am so broken-hearted and ashamed also. Please all you Christians and believers out there say a prayer for me. Today I started walking again on the treadmill and I done a DVD work-out of the biggest looser. Just the 10 minute cardio workout but hey, it's a start. Any advise...welcome....PLEASE:thumbup:
  3. Hey there, how long ago where you banded? How big of a band and how much of a fill? All that factors in with the band. Let me know. Hope all goes well.
  4. wow, so sorry to hear about the "blues". Trust me in a few weeks you will be so glad you did this. I was 311 pounds now i'm 218, I was banded feb. 5 th 2007, so it's been over a year! I love the band. I was a size 22, now i'm a 12. Just give it some time and enjoy the ride. I think it is one your going to love. Best of luck!
  5. it's been a year that i've been banded. I was on liquids for 6 days preop. Short notice and the dr said that was fine. So in a year i've lost 89 pounds and very greatful to God for that. I'm getting my life back. 311-222 pounds now.....woooo.whooooooo
  6. :laugh:Hey everyone, banded for a little over a year and loving it. Starting at 311 now down to 222, just 11 more pounds and i'll have 100 pounds lost....can't wait. I have been floating around here for a few days and reading everyones post. This seems like a wonderful group of people. I need the support this site offers. The dr's want to do the operations but they need to work on the heads (mind) too. So many things running through my head, so many questions, just kind of lost here. Not knowing what my goal should be, will I ever not crave sweets, will the skin on my double chin go away somewhat? Just want to know does anyone else go through these feelings or am I just out there in the milky way, yum, that sounds good. lol Thanks for reading my post, looking forward to being your web-friend. Andi
  7. wow, that website is awesome. However, my goal was 180 or so, and that website says 167. I'll just have to wait and see where this road takes me. I am having fun though. You know, my dr didn't even discuss my goal weight with me. hummm going to have to ask him about that one. See ya all on the web.
  8. I have not looked back. I love the band, it teaches me something new everyday. I was banded on 2-5-07 at 311. Now I am 222 and love the new healthy me. You just have the jitters. Good luck and keep us updated.
