It took me 17 months to hit my goal, and have a loss of 100 lbs. You must get your fills as you need them, they are your key to success!

Dawn... I lost about 6-8 pounds per month on average... it was slow and steady. My band is never coming out. It still has a very good fill in it. If you take the band or fill out, you'll gain the weight back.

With the swimsuit not being low-cut, you can't see the 'overhang' I have underneath. A good pair of underwear or higher cut swimsuit covers it up...

I have lost exactly 100 pounds. I feel like a TOTALLY new person!

I did not do anything to lighten my scars. Time fades them very well.

My scars are VERY VERY faint... not noticeable to the naked eye. All of my belly fat is 'under' the bikini... so it is not noticeable unless my panties are off. With a tummy tuck, my stomach would be much flatter, but I'm not going to complain, and the scar from a tummy tuck is much worse than what I've got going on under my bikini!! Thanks SO much for the compliments. I hate bathing suit shopping and had NO PLANS on getting a suit like THIS. But it worked...

No regrets, whatsoever. My only warning is... the band is a lot of work. It seemed easy for awhile, and I suppose it was for a bit. But you also have to do lots of follow-up with your doc. You'll have time where it gets ridiculously tight for no reason, and will hope it will get better... and maybe it will, and maybe it won't and you'll need to get an unfill. my band got so tight I thought I had a slip. It is a great device, but I know it is a device I will have to follow up with for 50 years. And I know I am the 'poster child' as my doctor says, for this procedure. It doesn't work this well for everyone... HTH!
