  1. I made it through Thanksgiving without gaining, but I also haven't lost any. I really wasn't interested in most of the food, especially after cooking and smelling it all day. As usual, it was the baked goods that tempted me...I made homemade yeast rolls, a pecan tart and a pumpkin pie. I had a couple of bites of everything except the baked goods, then I was done. Much easier than I thought it would be, and I'm thankful for the absence of hunger this year :)

I was surprised by how little I ate as well. Only had a bite of my favorite pies and it was enough. Yay for surviving the holiday!!

  2. It really is the little things that mean the most. Spent the holiday with one of my nephews and his family. Managed to go to the Christmas theme at the local amusement park and walked over 5 miles. This was something I had to bail on them for last year because there was no way I could do it. That was my final straw that made me go through with the surgery. While I struggled to keep pace with his wife zipping back and forth all over the park (man, she uses that stroller like a deadly weapon! ha!), I did it. But even something as simple as running around their backyard with the 5yr old and 2yr old just made my day. Truly blessed.

  3. today marks 12 weeks since my surgery... 3 months, but it feels like a lifetime ago!

  4. Yep... Size 20 jeans have to go in the "give-away box". I started this process in 24's.

  5. Seeing my weight start with a 1 takes some getting use to, as an adult all I've seen it start with is a2, 3 or 4. This an absolute first for me as an adult. It's crazy

  6. I don't care what anyone says... Dating is fun.... Date again last night and tonight.... Friday maybe open... so hit me up... hurry... it's going fast.. Saturday another date...

  7. Ugh..I may have lost weight but I am the least photogenic person on the planet still.

That's part of my problem too @KristenLe it makes me look half stoned (which I'm not!) Granted I've always disliked photos of me because of that.

I've had this issue as Im a dancer and my calves will never get skinny as long as Im dancing....find a good shoe person and have them insert expanders at the back of the boots! Its the only way I've ever been able to wear them and them look good.

  10. Onederland is finally here!!! 4 days past my expected date of arrival. This post looks far more excited than I actually am. It's more or less satisfying to be here now. I also feel like I can jump on the scale tomorrow and it will say 201.2. It's my sometimes scorpio pessimism that does not allow me to enjoy the fruits of my labor. For now-- I'm dabbin on em' B#@! DABB

Congrats! I went back and forth over the 200 mark for a day or two but I told myself when I did that I had been there before and it would happen again.

@heidikat72 Thanks! You're right about that. I had 3 different people try to take my picture for me this morning and I swear I was unhappy with all 20 of them because of angle/facial expression. I gave up and did it myself in the bathroom mirror!
