  1. Hi everybody! I am being banded April 6th, only 5 more days... Yeah!.... I think... lol. I am being banded in Austin thru True Results. My surgeon is Dr. Esquavel. We met him Tuesday, and he seems like a great guy. I am on low carb pre op, which I hate, but I am sticking with it ( I've slipped up a few times) I am busy cleaning the house, buying post op stuff, and trying to keep my mind busy. I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and they are covering 100%, so I feel very, very fortunate. Anyway-- I ready! Let do this  Angie
  2. Hi all, I am in Central Texas. I have been lurking around here for about a year and have decided to go ahead and take the plunge. I just talked to my insurance United Health Care, and I am covered for bariatric surgery. They said my doc just need to submit plans, and they will let me know what hoops I have to jump through (not exactly those words....lol) I have to be honest, the side effect of death has me kind of buggy. I have 4 children, 3 under 10, and I don't want to do something that will leave them without a Mom. This is the only thing keeping me on the fence. Any insight? Angie:eek:
