How do you figure out the nutritional information for a recipe in individual serving?[

What is the reason behind talking 30 mins to eat? I am 5 weeks post op from DS surgery and sometimes it is really hard to eat slow and draw it out 30 mins. I am full after I eat, and am not over eating. But why do we have to eat so slow if it goes down well?

I was told by my NUT. that at week three you introduce sodium back in your diet again. So you look like you hit a stall when in fact you retain Water. She said between weeks 3 to 6 weeks look at inches lost not just weight.

Those are the highest Protein goals Ive seen on here. I'm 1 month Post op DS surgery and my goals are 64 oz of Water and 90 grams of Protein. And I've lost 31 lbs in 5 weeks. Sounds to me like protein is too high in my opinion

My Nut also said grazing is how people gain back weight or stop loosing. 30 min incriminates of food intake only. if you cant finish it in 30 mins put it away and try again in a few hours

My Nut. says after week 3 only drink non calories beverages between meals. So drinks with Protein counts as a meal.

Hey I can't post the recipe cause it's in the wrong format. But if you pm me your email I can send it to you
Please post the recipe!!You make a mixture with Protein powder and other ingredients (you need something sticky like Peanut Butter or coconut oil the bind everything together) and you separate and roll them out
Thanks!

I think the stall comes from going from all liquids to some solids. Another shock to the system.

Morning all,
I'm having my first taste of cramping post op. I just hit my 3rd week today (8/15 Surgery Day). After I had a BM today and did have to slightly push, I'm having alot of lower belly cramping. Is that normal? I haven't experienced this before and its making me nervous, have I pulled something loose in my small intestine. I go for my first post op appointment tomorrow, Ill ask then. But scared today.

I am starting my 3 week post op on Monday. And since being nothing but Protein shakes and liquids for 3 weeks now. I dont know how Im gonna make it forever on Protein Shakes. My surgery requires 90 to 100 grams of Protein a day. I know once Im on real food I'll get most of my protein from my food. But if I need to catch up I dont want to always have shakes for large gram consumption to hit my goals. So I was trying to think of a way to substitute the sickly sweet shakes. I made tonight one pancake with non flavored protein. It came out ok, with 21 grams of protein in one pancake. It tasted more dense like bread. But I think it will be perfect for hummus dipping.Sounds convenient .... I don't know of anything that dense w/ Protein.... Except Protein Bars.< /p>
(Not clear on the concept of one quick bite instead of enjoying and savoring something you like tho)
I have seen "mug cake" recipes on here. But they use a coffee cup. And Protein Powder. They are thick. They are in the recipe section. You might have some better ideas from others in that area.
Good luck.

People who can cook and bake I'm trying to come up with an idea of a way to make a Protein packed quick snack that I could use with the Protein powder. So what I'm trying to do is take the scoop of Protein powder or the two scoops and try to get it into one bite size piece. Imagine brownie bite, Jello shot something that would only be a few bites but get me a large quantity of the protein powder. I'm thinking about making a very strong protein pancake with a full serving of protein in one pancake that I can eat fast. Something that I can get it all in one quick swallow and done with any ideas that can anybody come up with a concoction that's edible
