  2. And great idea Elizabeth. And I was thinking about touching base with the clinic on Monday. I haven't heard anything since seeing the surgeon in early December.
  3. I also have an underactive thyroid. And good to hear from another Tennessean. I am going to have mine done in Murfreesboro, that is, if all goes well. I really want this so bad, but hate to get my hopes up to much.
  4. Hi, I am new to the whole forum thing. I am really really shy. But I think here goes.......................My concern is getting turned down. I am going through BCBS of TN and my BMI is 34. I start weight was 241. I am going on the 4th month of seeing my primary doctor for the 6 month diet plan. I am at 234 as of now, but think if I loose weight, insurance will turn me down. I really want to do everything right. So any suggestions would be appreciated. Did anyone out there go to the support group meetings or recommend it?
