  2. This is probably a strange question but I am trying to imagine how it will physically feel with 85% of my stomach gone. Setting aside the pain the first week post op, can you tell that it had been removed? I don't know, I think I may be over thinking this and the anticipation is getting the best of me. 4. Hi Everyone! Im scheduled for the sleeve September 23rd with Dr. Hawasli. I feel comfortable with him as my surgeon but I am self pay so he is performing the surgery at the Dearborn Surgery Center to keep the cost down. He brings is own surgery team with him there. 8. I'm one month preop and I am getting quite a few people telling me I am taking the easy way out. I think I would like to create a " elevator speech" with some good comebacks to that common statement. Any ideas? Thanks Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

  11. Dub - I know I love hearing about your success! It is very exciting and reassuring that everything can work out the way is suppose to be. I have also read what can happen when it doesn't go so perfectly. I suppose I need to prepare mentally more that. Thank you Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

  14. I had everything in place for surgery this Friday, August 19th and I cancelled. I am so sad right now. I am just so afraid I will be sick all the time and I can't get past it. Obviously, I am not ready for this but I can't seem to let it go either. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  15. Sophie you are going through a very difficult time right now. I have been where you are right now. You will never really know why or what attracted your husband to this other women and it really doesn't matter. What matters is you and taking the time to heal. My number one best advice i can give you is stay away from Facebook if you can't control yourself from peeking at them. This will only prolong the pain and make it harder for you to move on. Please trust me when i say that there is a great life on the otherside of divorce. It takes time to heal and grow. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  16. Thanks Frenchie. When is your surgery date? Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  17. This is so hard for me too explain. I have been dealing with a panic disorder most of my life. You know inappropriate fight and flight response. Although I have been managing them very well for years now. I think I'm afraid of my panic attacks becoming uncontrollable. This must be hard for people to understand who has never had one before. I really need this surgery and I'm not sure I'm strong enough to fight through my panic. Ugh this sounds weirder and weirder the more I write about it. 18. I am in Michigan and self pay. Same price $10,500. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  19. Hi Everyone. I had a endoscopy with bravo done yesterday and everything went fine. The problem that happen was when I got home i went into full blown panic attack mode. I suppose I had a real realization of what I was doing. With that being said, I still feel like this is the best decision for me and my surgery date is August 19, but Im not sure I am strong enough to go through with it.
