  1. Yes, I have talked to my surgeon. He wants me to do the preop liquid diet to restart but I find that very difficult because the shakes are just a slider food for me. I want to use my tool for what it is...restriction
  2. I am six months out sleeve and lost 50 pounds the first two months. The last four months I have lost exactly zero pounds. I still have 30 to 40 pounds to hit goal. My average day is 1000 cal. I do cardio but I do not lift weights. I am considering just eating an egg for breakfast and then grilled chicken breast for lunch and dinner. I am choosing this because I get the most restriction and it will bring my calorie intake to about 600. What do you think? Any advice?
  3. I had surgery 9/16 and haven't lost a pound since December. Very frustrating and scary. Feeling like a failure.
  4. I eat up to 1000 cal/day. I get between 90 and 110 gram Protein. Less than 50 g carbs. I do three miles walk/run 4 times a week and 2 days weights with a trainer. I need to lose 40 more pounds to goal. Thanks Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  5. My weight loss has slowed down significantly but I am trying not to panic (yeah right). Below are my monthly losses with my sugery date of 9/16/16. My starting weight was 231 and I am now 181. Sept. -24 Oct. -12 Nov. -7.5 Dec. - 4 Jan. - 2 Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  6. 4 months out. 40 pounds away Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  7. I would like to hear from the people that have not hit or even come close to the expected weight loss goal 1 to 2 years out. Im wondering how often this happens? It's a big fear of mine but mainly because I feel like I am not doing enough to reach my goals. How can I not take full advantage of this gift I have to myself? Feeling very angry at myself. 8. I am averaging 1000/cal a day and I workout with a trainer 3 days week. The other days I use the treadmill and starting to actually run. All I can do is keep in keeping on...but this is frustrating and scary that it's not going to happen for me. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  9. Hi Rolosmom. I was just going to post the exact issue. Here are my stats: SW 221 on 9/16/16 CW 180 So 41 pounds in 4 months, great! But, I literally only lost 2 pounds in the past 5 weeks. I feel so anxious about this. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

  11. This is why I keep advising people to progress their calories, but it seems like so many people are terrified to do so. They don't realize what it means to be stuck on those low low calories for the rest of their life. It makes maintenance so much harder. It is like dooming yourself to regaining. OutsideMatchinside can you elaborate on this? I am having a hard time understanding why I have to eat so low calorie to maintain vs. my sister who lost the same amount of weight as me with diet alone no surgery. (I am not in maintenance phase yet, but going by what I have read on forums). Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  12. LA lady - Did this problem resolve for you? I'm almost 5 weeks out now and the itching is getting intense. Only around my breasts mostly. No rash Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

  14. I am 25 days out and the past two days I have had pain on my right side around the rib cage. The pain actually feels like a lactic acid build up, same as what happens when you walk or run too fast. Can gallbladder attacks happen this soon out? I am awaiting a call back from my surgeon office. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

  18. I'm three days out and suffer from panic attacks. I did not have any panic moments. I was strangly calm in the preop room. Then they gave me something and all your nerves dissipate. Everything you read on here is exactly how it happens. I can tell the difference of how much better i feel just from yesterday. I wish you the best! Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
