6 week stall

Hello BP friends,

I've been more of a lurker than poster lately, seems there aren't enough hours in the day. But I nees your help!

I've hit a serious stall. Not for a few weeks - since before Christmas. I had my surgery 9/15 and have lost 55 pounds which I'm thrilled with. But seems like since mid December my body has slammed the breaks.

Any thoughts? I get my protein/water in and eat 900-1000 calories a day.

TIA!!!

Hi Rolosmom.

I was just going to post the exact issue. Here are my stats:

SW 221 on 9/16/16

CW 180

So 41 pounds in 4 months, great! But, I literally only lost 2 pounds in the past 5 weeks. I feel so anxious about this.

I am averaging 1000/cal a day and I workout with a trainer 3 days week. The other days I use the treadmill and starting to actually run. All I can do is keep in keeping on...but this is frustrating and scary that it's not going to happen for me.

How frustrating that must be! Are you still measuring your food and tracking your macros? Perhaps your carbs and/or sugar intake is more than you realize (I know this could easily happen to me). Do you do any strength training?

Yes, everything goes into MFP. I am strength training with my husband (Navy). And I'm pretty sure I'm getting smaller. But the scale just will not move!

I think you might need to increase your calories. Try it for a few days and see if the scale moves. Are you losing inches?

I don't measure (i know, bad me) but my clothes get looser and looser so I'm pretty sure I am. I'll break out the tape measure - I have one from sewing that will do just fine.

Just so frustrating!!!

Thanks for your responses ????
