Today, I officially hit onderland! I will say that I feel a little bit like a cheat because while I was close, I had abdominal wall reconstruction surgery last week on 1/3/17. I was in the hospital for 5 days and really couldn't eat more than liquids for almost a week. Although I'm back to solids, I'm at about a 1/4 cup right now. I'm trying to hit my Protein and Water goals daily, but it's a struggle with this newest surgery. Everything makes me sick :-/

  2. I f*cking love cheese!!!!

I incorporate it into my "diet" when I'm tracking and when I'm not...

    Yeah, that's right...

    I f*cking love it!!!!

Haha! Love it! How has it played into your weight loss? Do you think it helps or makes your weight loss slower? That's just my fear.

I eat it daily! I love cheese. I do eat in moderation and I go for the really tasty cheeses so I can enjoy the taste, with just a bite :-)

Great job! I can only dream of being down so much so quickly. My surgery was on 11/22 and on 4/29 I'll be having my wedding reception for our one year anniversary (it was too rushed when we got married so no time). I would love to be down that much! Keep up the great work! :)

Thank you! You will get there - we have a great tool helping us out :-). Happy New Year!

  4. Way to go!! That's awesome! What have you been doing/eating to achieve that amount of weight loss?

I've stayed on the plan set by my surgeon and nutritionist. As far as meals, I eat high Protein and keep my carbs under 20 grams a day - sugars under 5 grams. I try to keep the fat down, too. I weigh or measure everything and keep my cals below 800. No sugar, no flour, no starches (except Beans - occasionally), no refined carbs. My carbs are from veggies.

I also make sure I walk at least 5 miles a day and I'm starting the couch to 5k program. I'm starting weight training soon, but I'm having surgery again on 1/3/17 (if you look really closely on the right side of my photo, you can actually see my huge hernia bulging out ;-/). I'm not allowed to lift yet, but as soon as I get the green light, I'm ready to start weight training.

Lastly, I track every nibble, lick, and bite to make sure I'm staying in my guidelines :-)
