    Air travel post-op?

Plane trips are no issue. You honestly won't even be hungry then so I doubt the street tacos will even appeal to you. Since you're coming to my neck of the woods, I can tell you even if you were to take a bite, it would likely come right back up. Sounds cool, but I would pass on the street tacos. 5. I'm 5'2. 130 pounds is what I would like to weigh. I haven't weighed 130 pounds since the late 90s. I wasn't skinny by any means - just healthy and fit. Thank you for all of your advice, I really do appreciate it! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Still "seeing" the old me

What an absolute inspiration you are to me. You started at a similar weight and size as I have, and I've been dreaming about running for nearly two decades now. You look fabulous and I hope you also feel fabulous, too. I think you hit the nail on the head in the subject matter of your post "Still seeing the old me." It can be hard to look at accomplishments and see how far you've come. You're not alone in feeling that way. I heard another woman talking about the same things your expressing when I was at a bariatric support meeting. The counselor said that sometimes, people go through a grieving phase after they've successfully lost their weight. If that's what you're going through, just know you're not alone and reaching out like you have with your thread, is an excellent way to get some support. Thank you for posting. I hope to be as successful as you are Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    What are you eating?

Have you checked out http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/p/links-resources. ?"Shelly," Michelle has great recipes and ideas. She's 10 years out from bypass. Her recipes have helped so many people on their WLS journey, including me. I'm 4 1/2 weeks out, so I'm in the "mushy" phase. I've tried her ricotta bake (delish) and her chile relleno casserole (also, delish). They're great sources of Protein, even with the 1/4 cup serving size. I have the cauliflower casserole on my list to try next. Hope this helps you liked it helped me! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

How are y'all doing August sleevers!?

I was sleeved August 31. I'm pleased with my weightloss thus far - SW 276, CW 245. I am also having a problem with constipation. I can't eat more than an ounce of Protein at a time, but I have no problem drinking a Protein shake. I would say right now, half of my protein is from Protein shakes, and the other half is from food. A typical day is 1/4 cup of NF cottage cheese, and two tablespoons of peaches, a premier Protein Drink, Shelly's Ricotta Bake (1/4 cup) with 2 tablespoons of string Beans, a scoop of Isopure with some Water, chicken breast salad or Shelly's Chile Relleno Casserole 1/4 cup, with 2 tablespoons of string beans. When I stared pre-op, I weighed 310, so I've lost a total of 64 pounds. I haven't hit a stall yet, but expect that I will soon.
