    Momto9 got a reaction from 8petals in Pre-op diet
I've been on my peo-op diet since this past Tuesday. I have surgery on the 19th. My pre-op diet consists of three Protein shakes a day with skim milk or light soy milk, I use Rutein for the Protein. I can have up to 2 cups of lettuce or spinach or greens. That's cooked or regular.
1 light yogurt a day 6oz. 1 cup of sugar free Jello, coffee and tea with no sugar, honey etc...
And up to 2 cups of low sodium chicken broth or beef broth a day.
Sounds like everyone has something a little different. Guess is dependent on the doc.

Momto9 reacted to chele367 in 6 years post-op, thinking about Overstitch revision
First off never heard of this procedure. Second if you gained weight on the sleeve was is it due to not following the program? What do you think would change having a new surgery? So I am a month post op sleeve. Down 55 lbs including pre op weight loss. Must say thought the weigh would be flying off fast. 15lbs this past month. Guess that is not so bad. Anyway I am militant following directions for most part. Have a bit of caffeine and accidently drank from a straw a few times. Drink Water, eat 1/4 cup Protein meals 3 xs a day and walk. Just asking because really what do I know? Do you feel like your pouch is stretched? Can you eat a lot again? Sorry for questioning you really curious. Thanks for sharing. Michele

I got rid of stuff as I shrunk out of them. It took quite a few pounds to drop a size in the larger sizes, there are lots of threads where people talk about this so its not just me. Those sizes are more forgiving and literally can take 40+ lbs sometimes to drop one size.
Once you're Into straight sizes it's more like 10lbs per size or even less depending on how/where you lose. I had some sizes I literally just about skipped over and had stuff I never wore--never was a 10! Skipped straight from 12 to 8.
I kept one pair of my largest size jeans for the pix below and my favorite largest size top. Now I am wishing I'd thought ahead and kept a top I could style into a dress, the one I chose fits like a baggy dress but the style just doesn't work as a dress LOL. Passed everything else on to Goodwill and haven't regretted it! I am over 2.5 years out.

If I get all my clearances I'm looking at 7/20. I'm excited about the surgery but scared of the 2 week liquid diet more than anything.
