    Ate too fast... Lesson learned

It's official- scrambled eggs are evil. They lure you in with their yellowness and their butteryness (with some lovely flecks of green chives) and they turn round and kick you as hard as they can. Ruined Saturday morning, nauseous all day. They should be proscribed as a class A drug. Evil evil evil (continues muttering murderously....) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Post surgery Q - recovery

I am a quick healer too. I had op on Thursday and was back Tuesday (desk job) but I can work at home so can take breaks. Could you do that? This worked for me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    3 week Post Op HELP!

I am a newbie also (9 days in) but I recognise the boredom eating and there is a big gap for me there too. I think one key to success is to try and change your routines so there is something else to fill the gap - both on a temporary and more long term basis. Distract yourself so food is not the only thing you are thinking about. Start a new activity or join a club. Visit a place you haven't been before. Create some new experiences and things to think about. Have a look at what is going on in your community and go to some new events. Eg today I am going to go for a long walk with a visit to an interesting exhibition at the end Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Post-Sleeve Working Out

Hi all - just joined the site and great to read all your advice. I am 9 days post op. I was pretty active pre-op so don't want to just stop that now. I feel great so I am doing lots of walking for now and I did some light weights in the gym yesterday. My surgeon said I should be able to play tennis 14 days post op but I will see how I feel when I get there. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
