Hi all I am new to this forum I'm trying to consider which type of surgery will work best for me. I would like to ask a question of anybody reading in this form if they have Hashimoto's or hypothyroid and what the success was for having bypass surgery. BCBS did the same thing to me. Luckily my surgery date is still two or three months out. it ended up that they made a mistake the letter "just gets printed" so I contacted the insurance company. after several hours of research to figure who to call. There is an insurance coordinator at the facility that you were going to get the surgery done at contact that person and they will tell you who to contact at Blue Cross Blue Shield. I am scheduled for surgery on February 1, 2017. I have Hashimoto's disease and hypothyroidism along with fibromyalgia and other painful BS.
