    Getting sick at stomach

Over eating and eating too fast causes me stomach issues. I also had a case of the flu which did not do well with my stomach. If neither are your issues I would contact my doctor.

    Can't Get In Enough Protein

Most of what you are experience is normal. Eating and drinking is tough the first few weeks. But I agree contact your doctor about the nausea. It took me a while to get the Protein down. Don't be alarmed be at rest this will all pass and you will be on the other end giving the advise. This is a journey and an adventure.

    Can't Get In Enough Protein

I agree the first 3 weeks are tough. Protein drinks and sugar free popsicles is what I lived on the first 2 weeks then went to stew that was pureed down to liquid in week 3. Don't get worried it is all normal. Get down as much protein and Water as you can. It gets better as time progress. THIS IS A SLOW PROCESS your body is healing and getting used to the new dynamics of your stomach.
  4. It is normal to feel exhausted continue getting in as much Protein and Water as you can. I know the first couple of weeks getting 30 grams of protein down seemed impossible. It gets better as time progresses. I got a burst of energy on week 3 and then lost it after doing several projects and cleaning my house. Week 5 is better I am having energy enough to make it to the gym and do a few things. Remember it takes time for your body to heal and adjust.

    Can't Get In Enough Protein

Protein drinks are the answer. Even if it takes you all day you get at least 35 grams. My first few weeks I was doing good to get 35. Now in week four I am finally up to about 60 grams per days but I do 1 Protein Drink and 1 Protein Bar to get a total of 49. The rest is cheese and meat. I still do popsicles and getting down 1 17 oz bottle of Water. Working my way up. This is a process and it takes time reason for the 4 week diet plan.

    Sleeved 7/21/16 32 yr old

The Water is a tough one. I used popsciles and stievia water flavors I found at wally world. I am now in week four feeling normal. Take it a day at a time and little bites large bites eating too fast give you a nauseous feeling.

    Surgery

Yes I would do it again. The first few weeks are the toughest. But by week 4/5 you start to feel normal. I drink 1/2 can of Protein drink in the am and then a couple of slices of bacon and I am done. In an hour or so I will eat something else. The dogs are loving this the most as they get what I can't eat as for Water the first 3 weeks I live on Popsicle now I am up to one 16 oz bottle of water and Popsicle. Like I said a day at a time. It is a slow healing process but you want to heal without having any leakage.

    Surgery

You'll be just fine. Just follow the diet for each week. Eat slowly. I am in week 4 eating real food. The portions are extremely small and I fill up quickly. Take it one day at a time.

I want to be left alone

If mom lives with you, respect her but make firm rules for her to live by and be willing to let her move if she does not like it. Your home YOUR rules!

    Week 2 liquid diet

I made a tracking sheet and the 2 weeks before surgery is tough for all us. You will find your body's hunger will shut down then it is more imperative you keep track so you do not become dehydrated.

Scheduled for July 29th Dallas Texas

Eating the necessary Protein is a challenge. Just can't drink a whole Protein Drink. I am eating yogurt and I put 1 scoop of creamcile Protein powder in a 4 oz tub. I can only eat 1/2 but the total Proteins 15. I also getting unflavored protein powder to put in my Soups and anything else that does not have a lot of protein until I can get back on eating meat. As for Water Popsicles are a life saver

    July 8th 2016!

I wish you God's Speed and a safe and quick recovery.
  15. I got mine on July 1 had a few complications and after speaking with the ICU nurses I was a rare case. I lost blood and Water unfortunately the staff on the floor were clueless to what I needed kept asking me why I was sleeping and could not get up . Like I am suppose to know. Finally 2 AM (my surgery was at 9 AM) they figured out i needed water so they gave me 500 CC of water wow that helped could not tell my tongue was stuck to the roof of my mouth and my lips so chapped. Then my blood count was not coming up. So transfer to ICU and got a blood transfer 1 pint the following night another 2 pints and a scan to make sure the bleed had stopped. A one day stay ended up being 5 days for me. I am now home I am living on Popsicles and taking the meds. I am slow at getting around but I am sure after what my body has been through that is ok. I'll take my time.
