I tried GENEPRO the other day, put it in some chicken broth and all I tasted was the chicken broth. There were no clumps or weird taste. I was very happy.
I purchased unflavored in order to put it in other things. I'm pretty okay with most ready to drink Protein shakes.

The PPI was going to be my suggestion as well and I think changing when you take it, is worth a try. I hope you start to feel better soon!!

I was sleeved on July 18th and every since I have had problems with nausea. At first I would get nauseous before I go to bed or I would wake up in the middle of the night nauseous, but now I'm experiencing it at night and in the morning when I get up. Sometimes I vomit, but mostly I just dry heave because there is nothing in my stomach to throw up. My doctor has prescribed transdermal nausea Patches and zofran but it's still happening. Anyone else going through this or have been through this? I would appreciate any suggestions as to what I could do to decrease the nausea?

Yes I have a prescription for omperazole (Prilosec) 40 mg. I take it every day. Maybe I need something stronger. I'll contact my doctor tomorrow.

@@cogal - I still have strange tummy rumbles. Oh well, I'm much smaller, healthier and energitic. A few strange sounds don't bother me much, and they occasionally crack me up.

My surgery date is also July 18th. I don't have to do a liquid diet but I have to try to consume less than 40 g of carbs a day. I'm so excited. Wishing you both the best and looking forward to reading your updates. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I have a cup that keeps track of each 8 oz that I drink and when all eight lights are lit up signalling that I've reached my goal of 64 oz. It even plays a congratulatory melody. How about...instead of a book, I bring a fashion magazine with lots of cool clothes I'll be able to wear in about 7 months? That might keep me focused and help with the pain

My surgery is also scheduled for July 18th! Super excited, but nervous.
