My surgery was Monday and the shakes are a big problem. They are too thick. Even tried the powdered one with Water. I gag and hack foam every time I try to down some. I'm ready to eat a scrambled egg.

I had mine Monday and I feel awful. My doctor is wanting Protein shakes every hour on the hour. With the foam and mucus all I do is gag and cry.

I have a hard time with the milky shakes during my liquid diet stage. I'm going to get some of the lsopure Protein Drinks. A lot of people are drinking those post op. That might me easier to get down.

I feel great actually. The doc and nurses are pretty shocked but I feel amazing. Walking everywhere and doing things myself
