Thank you @shelterdog64. I wouldn't wish this grieving on anyone. I'm a wreck. Also, dealing with this is making me sick and my sleeve is enough to deal with. Why is life so hard? ???? Also, thank you for the recipe. I'll have to try it when I get cauliflower

    Late June Sleeve Buddies?

@shelterdog64. Sorry I didn't get back sooner. Doc said it appeared ok but that he has to go back and look at everything and write up a report. It still feels like things are stuck and bc of that it makes me puke or just feel uncomfortable. Also, my stress level has been through the roof. I started back to work today and while I was so excited I had no energy after 5 hours. Also, yesterday was a terrible day. I found out that my fiancées brother was found dead. He was only 30. July is a tough month for me as my sister passed two years ago in July also Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I've definitely hit slight stalls. I'm in one right now where I havent lost in about a week. I'm definitely hitting my protein goals without any issues but I'm not hitting my 64oz water goal. I've only hit it total about 3 times. I do consistently hit 50+ oz a day tho. Drinking all that water feels like a job. It's hard. I know it'll all eventually happen tho and more weight will come off. I finally go back to work this week so that will help. I also have to go get my procedure done tomorrow to see if I have a structure bc I always feel like something is stuck in my throat/esophagus

    Late June Sleeve Buddies?

Hey all! Today I went to my gastroenterologist for a follow up. He was going to do an upper GI series (which is drinking the barium drink) but he decided to do an EGD instead so if he does need to he can do stretching that may need to be done and also do biopsies for food allergies I may have developed. I have this feeling of things being stuck in my esophagus. I typically have an EGD every year anyways bc of my reflux. Side note was that he said I looked great and he was super proud of the progress I've made. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

June 23rd here! Down 20 lbs since surgery. It's been a journey and not an easy one. Every day is a journey in an of itself but together we can all get through it.

Has anyone out there that has gotten the procedure had heightened emotions since? Literally everything gets to me and I cry. I cry bc I'm cold...bc I'm alone at home, because I feel like I'm not fun anymore and can't do fun things with my fiancée anymore right now....I'm just an absolute mess. 11. I use Dymatize whey Protein isolate. It isn't cheap but one serving is 25g protein and it is great for those who have lactose issues as well. I've been using this protein for almost a year now and it's great! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Hi all!! I'm new to this!! I had surgery he 23rd. They told me I could go through a slew of emotions after and boy are they right. I'm currently going through the regret phase. I know it will get better but it's hard. I had my gallbladder out at he same time so I'm having a lot of pain and getting the fluids down is soooo difficult for me. I had my follow up today and had to go to the hospital for 2liters of IV fluids. My roommate at the hospital had bypass and we keep in touch for support and she has been feeling great! This is tough stuff and definitely not easy! A lot of cramping. How are you all doing? The support we can give each other is huge and I love the whole concept of it!
