  1. OMG!!! I am in the exact same boat as you are. I was banded on Feb. 19th and I have only lost 16 pounds. My band holds 12cc and my doctor has put in 6cc. I don't feel any restriction. I can eat whatever I want. I am so frustrated! I feel like I was never even banded. It is also so hard to get an appointment with my doctor.
  2. I get my fourth fill tomorrow and I can't wait. I am stuck and have only lost 2 pounds since the first month. I am getting really discouraged. I hope my fill tomorrow will do the trick. I have a standard band but I don't know if it holds 10cc or 14cc. I have been given 4cc so I am assumeing it's the 14 since I don't feel any tightening.
  3. I'm with ya. I've had two fills and I don't feel any different. Thank goodness I get my third one today. I'm going to beg for more than just 1cc. Good grief the band holds 14 and so far I only have 3. I feel like I'm at a stand still and not losing any weight.
  4. I was banded on February 19th and I have had 2 fills. the first fill he gave me 2cc's but on the second fill he only gave me 1cc. I feel like I never even had surgery. I can still eat anything I want. I am eating smaller portions and I exercise, but the weight is not coming off. My doctor told me I have a standard band but I don't know how many cc's it will hold. I am so frustrated!!! I get my next fill on May 19th and I am praying it will finally make me have some kind of restriction. My doctor keeps telling me to be patient that it takes a couple of fills before you find the sweet spot.
  5. Why don't you go to your Lap-Band doctor and have him request your records from you PCP. Then he will have to send them.
  6. I was banded on 2/19/08 and I received my first fill yesterday afternoon. I can really tell a difference on how much I can eat. Until the fill I didn't even feel like I was banded. I was hungery and could eat anything without it bothering me. Today is another story. YEAH!!! I am not hungery and when I was I could only eat a small amount.
  7. I am having my first fill on thursday afternoon and I wanted to know if you ate food or did the liquids. I don't even know what size band I have. I guess I'll ask that when I go in on thursday. I don't even feel like I have a band right now because I can eat whatever I want. So I hope he gives me enough cc's to help with that.
  8. I have been walking everyday for a hour. And I feel so much better. I think pushing myself helps me. I''m going to the beach next week and I can't wait to walk on the beach. I think if you set small goals for yourself it will help you in your exercise goals.
  9. I am so excited my first fill is March 13th. I am also going on vacation the 16th so I hope it will help will I'm gone.
  10. I've been putting shredded cheese in everything once I found out it didn't bother me. Try the cream of Broccoli soup. It's wonderful with cheese. I put it all in the microwave together so it melts the cheese. YUM! I just had cream of potatoe with the melted cheese for lunch. It was also good. Good Luck!!
  11. Somebody made a Thread for it but I can't remember where I got it.

Gees, it's like they think it is all suppose to fall off over night. Now I am regretting telling so many people. I just have to keep thinking of my own goals and not worry about it.
