I Just finished my 12wk option classes with Kaiser in Fontana,Ca. August 2. All by labs and my visit to a support group is all done. Im just waiting for an appt. w/ therapist for mental evaluation, bariatric physician and surgeon. If I dont hear anything by August 30, I am to call Kaiser. Hopefully I get a call this week. The classes are great. So much necessary information to keep you prepared throughout the entire journey. Take lots of notes and get to know the ppl in your class. It helps to form a support group while taking the class. I drove about 1/2 hr to class and ended up meeting my classmates and learned they lived near me. Good luck! I just ended week 7. 4 weeks ago I was Vitamin D deficient. Almost done with my higher prescribed dosage. I hope I meet the levels when I retake blood work. It easy losing pre op. All we can do it take it day by day. Hopefully your date soon. Sent from my LG-H811 using the BariatricPal App

I am currently on my 6th week Option class with Kaiser out in Fontana. I am glad to hear the good experience at St. Bernadine's Medical Center.

This is good to know... I was thinking of getting one. I noticed being summer is the best time to get one. A lot of stores are having a sale on them.

It's been about a month and a half since I quit all sodas and drinks with heavy sugars (Arizonas, Minute Maid juices etc). I have cut my coffee intake to about one cup a day. But, I love my coffee and lots of creamer in it. Giving up sodas before coffee help eased the caffeine headaches. When I got headaches I drank Water it helped big time. This week my goal is 3 cups a week.
