    I've been drinking Vega One. It tastes terrible, but I feel like a million bucks after one, plus 6 servings of greens, and most of the Vitamins and minerals for the day. It tastes so much better with some sugar-free Torani. I usually do shakes in the morning, it's the rest of the day that'll be difficult. Plus we're building a retaining wall today...eep!

    I had the Mirena on for 3 months and in that time I gained 40 lbs and never took it off. I also had terrible cystic acne along my jawline. The Mirena was horrible for me. In fact, up until I had the Mirena placed I had been losing weight at a fairly constant rate. Suffice it to say I had it taken out and the weight gain stopped, the acne cleared up, and I began to normalize. I also happen to be sensitive to estrogen, so that could be part of my issue.

    I have tricare prime and had surgery 2 mths ago. However, I had mine at MTF so my program covered everything. Only thing not offered there was psych eval and Tricare prime covered that with no hesitation. Since I did it at mtf, I did not have to wait 3-6 mths that Tricare make some wait. My Dr. referred me for sleeve and I was sleeved 2 mths later. I had no complications what-so-ever and was referred with 35 bmi.

    I'm new here! I have been considering vsg for about a year now. My husband is active duty military, so I'll be going through the local MTF. I'm a full time student, so I'm hoping to have the surgery in August, so I'm fully adjusted when I go back for my senior year.

    I've worked with my counselor for over a year on several failed diets and the resulting depression. Over the last year I've gained over 50 lbs :-/ I've taken a nutrition class through my college, and browsed this forum for a few months.

    This site has been super informative and I can't wait to start the journey. My appointment with my PCP is Wednesday and I'm hoping for a quick referral to the bariatric unit in the hospital. If anybody has any advice I would really appreciate it!
