  1. Thank a for the feed back but for some reason my nutritionist said something about Almond milk not being good and not having an ideal amount of protein! I actually like almond milk! I also loveeeeeee cheese! But for not I guess I will have to break up!
  2. Thank you very much very helpful! I was at a point of regret to be honest! I mean after the surgery I understood the love I have for food! That now that I'm unable to have none I'm doubting myself! I even have recipes of my old time favorite foods that I have twek to a healthy way and I can't get it as why I can't enjoy my food now that I'm on solid. For example today I tired to have some fish sticks (3) with 11g of protein I made it into a gyro style spinach, thin sliced red onions, tomatoes and as the tarter sauce plain Greek yogurt with pickles! And I used 1/4 of a whole wheat wrap! Took 3 bits and 1 I was full, and 2 got the only cramping stomachache! Does it sound like I'm moving to fast in my foods? I just don't get it!
  3. Hey all! So I'll be a month out surgery on the 19th and I'm unable to eat! Everything I eat literally give me a stomach and I'm running to the bathroom! I'm serious drained I practically live in the bathroom and is frustrating! I was told to stop all diary because I was feel horrible after consuming my protein shake, or a piece of cheese even yogurt! Has anyone experienced this? I don't know what else to eat/do! I'm starting to worry myself that I'm going to get malnourished and sick because I'm no having my protein! My weight is still the same as of last WK 237! I'm taking my pills and drinking my water but I'm feeling hopeless! Your inputs are greatly appreciate!
  4. They have salads and tacos and grilled chicken tenders! That should help! If you're unable to finish it up which you won't just fib (it wasn't that great!) Good luck
  5. Sorry to hear that! I do know the feeling, try to keep yourself hydrated keep sipping your water, and protein shake, yogurt, and broth! Unfortunately I had a follow-up appointment today and my DR said to stay away from all dairy for now no milk, no yogurt, cheese etc... For about a WK to see if my bathroom visit calm down! It's pretty annoying cause I want to eat but everything gives me a stomach and the runs! My doc also told me I would need to get a good amount of protein otherwise I will lose weight the wrong way which is muscles and I will age faster!
  6. I'm feeling the same way! I'm 6 days away from 1 month post op and today I made some skirt steak with spinach and I couldn't eat it! The meat didn't taste the same to me and I have been very sensitive to dairy everything makes me go to the bathroom like 3-4 time a day [emoji22]
  7. I drank my last drink 2 days before my surgery (beers, vodka) and I was fine! But again everyone is different! As per the instructions of what not to do the day before surgery thats what I followed, other then that! Hey enjoy your few drinks! It will be a while before you have it again! Best of luck!
  8. Thank a for the feedback I guess I was just a bit scared! That has never happened within the 2 weeks and now that I think back I normally took that pill on an empty stomach
  9. Thanks for the feedback, it was a little scary to me because in the two week that I have taking those pills I never experienced this feeling of throwing up!
  10. My friend had her surgery there with Dr. Harvey I believe his name is. Good luck, no negative thought love all his is for you own health sooner than later it will be over and done with
  11. Hey all, So today I had a small scary episode I'm two weeks in on my surgery, on Friday I was told to start puree foods, as every morning I wake up and have my protein shake, and sip water throughout the day at about 12pm I had some pureed Calabasas (pumpkin) lightly season with sea salt and a hint of cayanne pepper. I waited about 1 hour an half so I can't take omeprazol, once I had it Lord I thought I was going to die, I got light headed, chills and stomach cramps, as if I need to use the bathroom but nothing! Two minutes later I start gagging and I was throwing up an acid sour throw up ( my guess the pill) I guess the force of having throw up I felt all my stomach muscles cramp up! It was horrible!! Is this normal? My LPN told me I should continue pill for the next 3 months? But this was before this episode! Who has experienced this? Please any feedback is greatly appreciated! Last question how long after surgery did those belly sleepers start to sleep on your tummy's, without any discomfort?

  18. Yes correct a waist trainer is tight, I ask my doctor he said after a couple of weeks I can get into one as long as I don't feel no discomfort! And it helps as a form of molding into hour shape glass!
  19. Hi, yes it has been said that after any type of abdominal surgery is to to wear those nights tight grandma panties to hold the incisiones and also yout stomach from any type of pain! A lot of plastic surgeon when they do a tummy tuck or lipo strap you in one of these ASAP! It hold your stomach in and avoid hanging
  20. Today is way better! I'm walking a bit faster, and able to get out of bed with out any help! Today I was a little less motivated to drink all my liquid but I managed to gulp down serveal cups
  21. Thanks you so much! I must admit it's a little hard but pulling it through
  22. We are on the same boat! Lol My surgery was on Tuesday the 19 and I'm pretty much on that same rollercoaster, broth, popsicle, water, Crystal light waters, protein shake etc...
